    Update. It was the radio. It appeared something spilled on the dash and then dripped into the radio. Got a replacement, (thanks R.L.K) punched in the antitheft code and it works fine. Was able to get the 4 digit code on the phone in under a minute from a dealer near by. First dealer I called...

    Yup! It's the radio. It looks previous owner/driver spilled something and it trickled into the radio from that little tray above and finally shorted something. Could sure smell the burnt electronics inside. M.L.K. WILL THAT 5.0 show my backup camera, that now shows on the mirror, on it?

    Thanks R.L.K! I'll unhook the radio to see if the fuse holds. I did see a video on the removal. Looks easy! Hope it's the radio and not a short in the wiring somewhere.

    Found blown fuse by the brake booster. Blew replacement. Will probably need to remove radio?
