The front bumper I left on, but the back bumper i took off and put it on two saw horses. They are both heavy enough that they shouldn't move too much when stretching if you prop them up good enough.
Make sure you use two people though, way easier for stretching/heating purposes
Hey I used Avery Vinyl wrap, gloss white. I did it myself and I want to say that the material for both costed me around $100 Canadian. I got it from ND Graphics here in Canada. It came in dimensions of 5 feet by however much you want length wise...
It takes a lot of patience to do though, lots...
I can't exactly remember the exact measurements, I used a tape measure and then got the closet amount that would work with a little bit extra from the local guys here
Nice! Good luck with the install! I love these lights, they make so much of a difference.
I also have another pair of perfect condition LED tails I am selling if anyone is interested! These will also need the harness from wayned87
I am selling a pair of Ram LED Tail Lights and Third Brake Light SOLD
Will work with:
- 13+ Models W/ Factory LED's
- 13+ Models W/out Factory LED's (with added conversion harness)
- 09 to 12 Models (with added conversion harness)
These do NOT have the wiring on the back of them
If...
I was in the same situation as you. Luckily I found a pair with wires attached and sold the previous ones that were without.
While searching however, I came across a guy on the Cummins forum that makes and sells these wiring harnesses. I think he sells the for $50 shipped to US, $75 shipped to...
Does anyone know where I can get a set of these? I have the conversion harness from Jeremy already as well as the lights, but I am also missing the pigtails that are supposed to be on the back of them :(
I can't find them anywhere!
Anyone know where I can find the pigtail wiring for the 13+ LED tail lights?
I am doing a conversion of my non LED to LED, but I made the mistake of purchasing tail lights without the wiring attached.
Yup I did and it worked great! Super easy swap, nothing was different. Just take off the top pannel and the chrome bumper and replace with the plastic bumper piece.
Truck looks good. I love those demon eyes. I am probably going to install the switchbacks, just wasn't sure if it would make the DRL module more difficult to install or not. I might give switching back the country code a chance..
Sounds like it might work. I don't think that getting the country switched back and then having the drls go back on would be a good idea. Then i'd be like, "oh jk can you actually switch my country code again" lol
Did this provide you with a full power orange LED for daytimes or was it only half power? Also I am thinking of doing the white/amber switchbacks for my led strip. Have you heard anything to do with this?
I am in the same situation that your were in before. I have bought LED tail lights for $100 but unfortunately they came without the pigtails.
Can anyone give me advice on where to find these???
If I were to make my own i'd still need the connectors, any idea of where to get these? I went to Dodge today to check if they sold the wiring. They sell one of the connectors but it was $90..... :O
Hey guys,
I currently own a 2012 1500 and wanted to upgrade the tail lights to the 13+ LED ones. I have the conversion harness from Retroshop but I went against what Jeremy said and I bought the LED taillights without the wiring attached because I got a wicked deal for $100.
Does anyone...
