I put the truck in the air to inspect it further with the 4x4 engaged. I’m getting power through the front diff and is turning the diff output shaft but not the CV on the driver side. I assume one or the others (or both) splines are wore down. Passenger side output shaft from diff is not turning...
No, both shafts are good. A boot is cut on passenger side and there are cracks in the others so I just ordered two complete assemblies to replace both sides. Even after I install those I feel like that still won’t solve my issue. I’ve read about the splines maybe being worn down on the output...
I began having issues with my 4x4 engaging last weekend(125,000miles). I drove in a ditch to check a duck hole, front end was in the ditch back tires were on dry ground. Hit the button to put it in high and it stopped blinking as usual. Put the dial in drive and when I gave it gas...
lol just now seeing this... But yes it was very easy for me but i live on a farm and have worked on a lot of different types of machinery, four wheelers, etc. I did not need to do anything to get the 35s to fit in the rear.
I hope you had found your answer but I didn't want you to think that...
Sorry i don't mean to jack this thread but a buddy of mine got LEDs for his projectors and the can bus harness but the lights still won't come on and we don't know why. Can you guys help shed some light on the matter? his truck is a 2014.
When I'm home and just driving around the small town I use 87. Ethanol or not it doesn't make a difference in my mpg. When I drive to school running 80 on the interstate I fill up at a VP racing with 89 or 91 no ethanol. This station get their gas from a local oil company. I get right at 18 mpg...
I appreciate the feedback guys. I'm leaning towards the kooks because not many people are running them so i could give some feedback and they are just a tad bit cheaper than the ARH. I'll try to get in contact with kooks to see if they have resolved the 8spd fitment issues
My next mod is going to be long tubes with borla cat backs. Ive read on here about how well the Kooks fit and how the JBAs are a pain for 4x4s. You definitely get what you pay for and with that being said I'm sure ARH have good reason for being as expensive as they are. I'm planning to go with...
Yeah I think there is somewhere on here. Its really just the four bolts to pop the grill off then there are 2 or 4 more on the shutter assembly to unscrew to pull the assembly out.
From what I've read on here the shutters open and close depending on the engine temp. On the highway they would be closed for the purpose of redirected airflow to increase mpg. Unless the engine was running hot enough for them to be open.
I removed all but one on each side so an error code...
Is anyone running their Vararam with the active grill shutters? I installed mine about a year ago and decided to remove some of the shutters because when they close I would assume the intake wouldn't work as it was designed.
I just had to get a new iPhone and mine was doing this as well. It ended up being the antenna in the phone itself that was malfunctioning so i had to get another phone. The Wifi would drop too.
being as i made 3 separate orders for the speakers i installed them as follows: Rear doors, dash, then front doors.
Before I put the front doors in this afternoon, yes they were somewhat over powering but now it moved the sound stage back to center since i have the front doors in.
First off let me say that if I had bought these from JLs website I would have spent around $510 for the two pair of 6x9 and one pair of 350, But since I bought them off Ebay I spent $355.
Now on to the more important matter...WOW!! These 6 speakers will make you want to know why this wasn't...
I'm currently asking $700 for them. I would pay for the shipping granted you are in the U.S.
if you are in driving distance of Texarkana Arkansas I could meet you somewhere with them.
I recently sent them back to the guy that did them for me to give them a once over and have them checked...
