My 2015 4th gen did the same thing. It was the third brake light. There is a trough from the brake light area that the water runs down all the way to the grab handle.

I did the super bright led reverse. When I first installed, no error on the evic however they did flicker ever so slightly. I changed to led in Alpha and they were solid. No issues since.

The recall reads with a little ambiguity. Is says to check the torque and if OK tack weld nuts OR replace. If not ok it says to torque or replace. Not sure what the decision point would be to replace. I think I'll just keep an eye in it and if my witness marks move I'll replace with aftermarket...
Off the battery. check out sPod4x4.com. Basically you putting in your own PDC running off the battery so it does not interfere with any of the branch circuits on the truck. I have one with 6 circuits / relays and you can configure it for always on or switched
I recommend you use an aux fuse block with relays and run your add ons off of that. There qre plenty of options, spod,c roll your own, etc. Just search aud fus panel or box or aux switch panel and you will find a lot of info
Well, I just checked and the drag link recall now includes 2018's. I just received mine for my 2018 PW built 10/2018.
No sure if Im going to have the troglodytes at the dealer **** it up or just put in Synergy bits. What you say?
