Need help again - transmission overheating while towing
Here my thoughts with 28 years building transmissions and owning one of these Rams. First everyone says something about the tires.... Not going to make that much difference with that weight. Would be better if you had 4:88 gears but not going to overheat your transmission. Buy a deep alumumin...- transpartsnow

Benefit of 8 speed?
I have done many hours of research and made training materials on the 8 speeds and six speeds transmission. The six-speed is a better choice IMO- transpartsnow
