Determining Towing Capacity from Online listings
What's the loaded tongue weight of your trailer? A 1500 will manage a 25 ft camper easily, as long as you have the load capacity. You run out of payload much faster than towing capacity..- BlkZrx

Transmission thermostat bypass failures?
I put the bypass on my 4th generation 6 speed, it runs 30 to 50 degrees cooler. I received some feedback from an "expert" that it's bad for my transmission. Has anyone had issues?- BlkZrx

Camper size?
Newer trailers have both a gvwr and the advertised dry/empty weight. Your actual trailer weight will be closer to the gvwr after you load it up for use. To be safe, figure a 15% tongue weight of that gvwr. My 7500 lb empty trailer weighs 8600 without water, but ready to go.- BlkZrx

6.4 hemi lifter issues
My 16 6.4 at 99000 and still quiet. PUP oil every 5 to 6k. Redline for the tranny and gears. I'm keeping it till I fall apart..- BlkZrx

2018 ram 2500 6.4 hemi transmission issues
I purchase all the fluids/filters for my 2500 myself and have my independent mechanic take care it. Last full transmission service was less then $600. -
Unstable Towing with our 1500

What I need to tow TT
Big fan of the Equalizer 4 point WDH. Hitch is extra but TT dealers will usually give you a break on price when you buy a trailer. A 22 to 25 foot trailer would work well with your truck. I went to a 3/4 ton when I moved up to over 30 foot.. Sent from my SM-A516U using Tapatalk- BlkZrx

2000lbs in the bed ok for 8 miles?

How Many Miles on you 6.4 Hemi??????
In about a week will be 5 yrs and 86000 miles on my '16 2500 6.4. Tow everything from a 14000 lb generator a few times to a couple thousand miles a year on my 8500 lb camper. Still quiet, changing oil/filter about every 7000 miles. Penzoil or Mobil one 0/40. Changed other fluids to Redline...- BlkZrx

Rough riding 2500
