I don't tow/haul as much weight as you but when towing my TT with atv in bed, etc. I find the sweet spot for mpgs is 58mph and I don't run tow haul mode on the tranny.     Regarding the Syndergy and FCA, etc.... My problem is I have a Lifetime Maxcare warranty. I don't want to do anything to the truck that FCA could use against me at some future date if I have front end problems. Including not getting a Safety Recall done. I want that recall cleared off my truck.

    Taller tire will up you final drive ratio. You might not like the way it pulls your 5ver. Especially if you have 3.73 gears. I have a 6.4 with 4.10's and stuck with factory size. 33" is tall enough. Plus your speedometer/odometer will be off.

    With 33" tires and 2 overdrive gears (6 spd) it's stupid to neuter these trucks with 3.73's. Order one the way you want with 4.10's. 4'10's do nothing to hinder the truck.

    Forget the mpgs and perceived "saving of time"..... there is the safety factor! Towing is not a race! High speed towing is like Russian Roulette. A blow out, a gust of wind, having to brake hard, a sudden swerve, TV and hitch not setup right and the next thing you know the tail as waggin the dog...
