    Ahh my apologies. I thought you were referring to the two small screw holes in your photo. That square factor cut out does look factory and I would guess it's for a light. Take the dash off and see if there is a wiring harness close to that spot. Sent from my BBB100-1 using Tapatalk

    They're made for the garage door opener. They are momentary switches. So the switch is closed only when pressed. The control board would probably have to be reprogrammed as well.
