Joe. You could go stand alone computer. you could retrofit a modded (larger bore) throttle body to a 383/440 intake and make custom fuel rails to keep efi. 2nd Gen 2500 with Limited Slip Differential
Some aftermarket ones just replace the spider gears. If you replace an open with a locking or limited slip then you have to reset the clearances, basically rebuilding the rear axle. Maybe someone is messing with you, or maybe the truck is putting of the right frequency to trigger it. You know that alternators are 3 phase generators, they just use 6 diodes to convert it to dc power.- Bear_Gibson

No com to srs, no light on.
There is a 2 wire communication bus that the pcm uses to "talk" to the other modules. Such as the dash, abs, trip computer, seatbelt module, body computer. etc... I had to use the 200-2001 manual on my truck, you can download here...- Bear_Gibson

1999 Ram 1500 - AC blows hot when decelerating and stays hot for a while afterwards.
First, get yourself a set of R134 gauges. So much can be diagnosed from gauges. Also, My 99 had a similar problem where unless you were moving the a/c wasn't very good. Turns out that the old fan clutch was worn out. The truck never overheated, but you could never hear the fan in the mornings...- Bear_Gibson

Wanting to know if these drl modules are interchangable
After looking at a 1998 and 2001 service manual it appears that the plugs are the same but they are wired differently. I know that my 1999 favors the 2001 manual when it comes to wiring.- Bear_Gibson

Intake may have a small leak at broken bolt
Just something to consider if this doesn't clear it up. The right side heads sometimes crack from the heat of the catalytic converter. Due to the cats proximity to the right side head, when you shut it off the heat travels back up and can sometime cause the head to crack and look like a head...- Bear_Gibson

Make sure one of the low voltage terminals has 12 volts positive with the key on, the second wire comes from the computer. I believe there is a relay called A.S.D. that powers the coil. Do you have an engine light on? You might be able to test the low power side with a bulb, I'd use a LED...- Bear_Gibson

I know a reputatible converter shop. Now is just not the time. The pro-king can be aquired in a few days and has a single dad friendly price. i just need it to last till tax time. I'm not looking for a higher stall. I do quite a bit of low speed driving where I am. I only had it tuned to mitigate the effects of the death flash and its torque management. I'm 99 percent sure the stator clutch in the torque converter has failed. It has a tune and a slightly less restrictive exhaust. Otherwise stock. All Wheel ABS testing
I miss read your post, I thought you said it was only the brake light. If it's only the abs light, I'd bet it was just a wheel speed sensor. With 4 wheel abs there is a sensor pointed at the diff on the rear axle, and there are sensors at each front wheel. I just looked up the 1995 manual...- Bear_Gibson

Visibly checking the timing chain is a very time consuming process. It's behind the water pump. My chain had 180 some thousand miles and wasn't very stretched. The fact that you ad to rev it makes me think it's not a lifter. Loose rocker would do it all the time. I've had lifters tick occasionally and it does it at idle.
