The owners manual says something to the effect of use tow/haul when the transmission is shifting up and down a lot or when the trans temp starts getting too hot.
Definitely get the rubber mud flaps instead of the molded ones. I have the Mopar molded "splash guards" and they suck. Don't fit worth a crap and will rub through the paint in no time flat if you don't put something behind them.
Yea, my 2012 Ram's tailgate is WAY lighter than anything else I've owned. I didn't notice it until I opened the tailgate on my buddies '05 Ram and it slipped out of my hand and slammed down. So we compared the 2 and mine is so much easier to open and close.
You're getting the sport projector headlights and led taillights too. Adding those onto an Express isn't cheap. I know this because I want them, but they're $$
I would think so. I wouldn't count on getting that all the time though. I don't know about you guys, but the wind blows like crazy here in KS half the time and Hemi + wind does not equal good gas mileage.
$235? Hell, I paid $299 for mine. :(
The only muffler shop in the area quoted me $100 "or so" to install a Magnaflow using crappy crush-bent aluminized pipe. I figured it was worth the extra money to get mandrel bent stainless pipe and it also utilizes the stock hanger which is nice.
I don't...
It seems like most guys say a tuner increases their mpg as long as they can keep from hot-rodding around. It's on my list of things to get, but darn house projects keep stealing my truck funds.
Welcome! We've been waiting for you :hands: :burnout:
Just messin with ya. :D I came from GM and I LOVE my Ram. It's years ahead of every other truck in my opinion. I smile every time I drive it.
I noticed significantly better mpg after installing my 14" Mufflex kit(Magnaflow). The best average mpg I had ever gotten prior to the install was 16.4 mpg all highway. After install I got 18.5 mpg with mostly highway miles. I'm definitely happy with it.
Of course I haven't been able to...
If you have a shop do it, just look for a good tire and alignment place. Any place that installs new shocks/struts should be able to install spacers. Then you could have it aligned while its there.
