No DRL’s. Where to wire for “always on?”

You can utilize any ignition hot for drl's. You could use a piggyback fuse tap on a circuit that doesn't get used very often (link below). Just be sure to get the correct fuse type. Also, Amazon has a drl controler so you don't have to have the drl's on 100% of the time that the ignition is on...

    LED lightning.

If you want the most light, especially with the night edition housings, go HID. However, please aim properly! I actually have projector housings (the best for HID tech and what it was developed for) with 55w HID bulbs and ballasts. It is worth buying a high-quality kit with good AC ballasts. If...

3.21 vs 3.92 Gear Ratio...will not be towing much.

I have a lowered Ram 1500 with the 8 speed and 3.92 gear. If empty I can get 22 easily on the highway. Of course, that's if I keep it under 78 mph. Once over 78 mph the mpg goes down significantly! One other thing to consider... If you lower it you'll lose some of the smooth ride especially...

    Got screwed on wheels....

C'mon man, you can't expect us to feel bad for you. Any used parts must be fully and thoroughly looked at before buying. It would be nice if everyone would be honest, but unfortunately that ain't gonna happen. Control the things that you can!

    Looking for deep tone exhaust

If you're looking for just a little more sound than stock with zero drone, may I suggest a FM 70 series big-block muffler with 2 1/2" tailpipes and 3.5" dual wall dynomax tips. Get many compliments!

How do you know if you have 3:21 or 3:92?

I stand corrected. 72 mph is 2100 rpm.

How do you know if you have 3:21 or 3:92?

goram17, if the truck has the anti-spin rear end it wont melt tires even with 3.92's. Not a good method of deciphering rear gear ratio.

2014 Brake Problem...never had this happen before.

Y'all are freaking out for nothing! Call the police?! Constitutes theft? Driving it on the techs personal time? Seriously! If you've ever had an unusual anomaly with a vehicle you'd know this is standard practice. Arth, your truck is fine, it's fully insured by the dealer, and the tech isn't...

    OEM LED headlight opinions?

I am wondering how these lights are actually installed. Apparently the clear lens must be removed? I've always been concerned about removing the plastic lens in fear of breaking it. Any insight would be appreciated.

    Whipple vs procharger vs magnuson

Agreed! Should be measured in 1:1 gear

    Made a huge mistake...

The 19's are definitely a step up in quality from the gen 4's, especially regarding the interior, but that price is absolutely ridiculous! I'll do what I always do and wait a couple years and get one 6-12 months old with 5-10k miles for 20k less.

    Best Aftermarket Head-Unit

I agree with the others that say get the unit that meets your needs and budget. In aftermarket head units you do get what you pay for. I have the Alpine iLX 207 7" and it's really nice. Lots of sound adjustment to get very high quality sound. I'm also running 2 12" Alpine type R's with a...

Just did the H11 to H9 conversion.

Y'all do yourselves a favor and forget HID's or even putting in the wrong model bulb. HID ballasts are junk and need replacing 1-2 time a year. Available on ebay is LED bulbs that are within a couple hundred lumen of HID, have no ballasts, and are 6500K. Mine look great!

Hemi, 8 speed, 3.92 rear gear, Volant closed cold air intake with ram air tube with the inlet custom routed (was routed under the front bumper) to the lower grill where I removed the plastic cover, 2/4 drop, helwig sway bars, 285-60/20 tires, Flowmaster 70 series muffler and stainless 2 1/2"...

How are you guys getting 22 MPG?

2014 QC Express 5.7 8 sp. 3.92 gears hard tonneau. I was getting 22.8 on the highway, but after installing program from a SC tuner regardless of which tune I use it now only gets 20.6. Although it does seem to have more power, I kinda wish I wouldn't have put the tuner on it.

    Widest tires.

I have a 2 wd with 2/4 drop and just purchased 285-50-20's. The local tire store said they wont fit, but a few others on this forum say they've run this size and even 295 with little or no rub. Only issue I'm running into is getting them installed. The places that say they wont fit will install...

Mcgaughys 2/4 Wobble Solution - Pinion Angle

Update on my wobble issue. I spoke to a tech at McGaughys and told him about the wobble issue and my set-up. He said with the track bar relocate bracket it shouldn't wobble. When I said I have airshocks (need to maintain hauling capability) he said that's the wobble problem. I replaced the air...

Mcgaughys 2/4 Wobble Solution - Pinion Angle

I now have this problem after a 2/4 Belltech drop. I was convinced the problem was in the front not the rear, and was surprised to read so many posts regarding the rear. I have airbags on the back, and it doesn't seem to matter how much air is in them the wobble doesn't change, which is what...
