2013 Ram Larime - Key Fob

You'll probably get a better response from the 4th Gen forum, right here. Good luck with your issue.

    Bristol Leather? (Laramie trim)

Thanks for the response. Would love to hear your take on them when they come in. Mine *look* great and are very comfortable. I would just like to know what's real leather and what isn't. That information seems to be quite elusive.

    Bristol Leather? (Laramie trim)

Posted this on a different message board but didn't get much response. Anyone know what it is? And for that matter, which parts of the seats are "leather trimmed"? Just the parts outside the inner-vented parts? Or are they leather, too? Can't find anything online or even on Ram's website...

What DON'T you like about your RAM?

I've had a lot of cars with power seats in the past 30 years that did not have memory seats. Just off the top of my head, '07 Accord EX-L, '07 Explorer XLT, '13 F150 XLT, '14 Explorer, '12 Buick Verano, '11 Honda Civic. May have been more. My '15 F150 Lariat has them as does this '16...

    Best Mods for Under $100

Does the Dee Zee Tailgate Assist help with only opening the tailgate? Or, does it also make lifting/closing it easier as well?

Express car wash scratched my truck.

Sorry for the OP's bad luck. Personally, it doesn't bother me in the least to take my truck through an automatic car wash...touchless or not. If I go through one that touches, it's the soft cloth type. Been doing it for many years and never had the first problem. I'm sure others have. I...

    Ram owners sure are proud

Is there a way to keep my bedliner down

Is the factory spray in liner (2016) proprietary to Ram? Or, do they use Line-X or Rhino? Sent from my Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge using Tapatalk

Why are Rams generally less expensive than Ford or GM?

My Ram was assembled in Warren MI. F150 is assembled in the Dearborn Rouge plant or KC MO, not in KY. The Ford truck plant in Louisville KY makes the large trucks, usually 550 and up. They don't make F150s. (My oldest brother works there.) Sent from my Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge using Tapatalk

Why are Rams generally less expensive than Ford or GM?

I love my Ram. Always had Fords. Seems like Ram is the best *value* on the market today. I know there are exceptions, and I'm not suggesting in any way they are "cheap". Just that they can generally purchased for a bit less than their counterparts. Or maybe I'm way off base. But if not, is...

automatic car wash- will it scratch

Car wash, soft cloths that flop around, not spinning brushes. Hand wash some but mostly the car wash. Never had any problems. I love my truck but...it is a truck. Sent from my Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge using Tapatalk

    Talk to me about quality

I've always perceived the Dodge/Ram was inferior quality to my Fords. No offense... was just my perception. It's early but so far I'm very happy with mine. Consumer Reports says the '15 is very good to excellent in every category. And yet, they rate it as below average reliability...I assume...

    which fuel do you use?

Stock hemi no tune. Figure I'll go with the mfg recommendations and use 89...figure they might know a thing or two about these trucks. We have a locally owned and operated vertically integrated refinery in our area. Uses sweet crude from Illinois Basin, refines it, distributes and markets and...

Which OEM splash guard to I need?

I ordered these from Amazon, but they didn't fit. I *thought* my truck didn't have fender flares (by my son's definition) but apparently it does. See pics below. The part number I got was BAM-2287AC.1228, but the holes wouldn't go in far enough to line up with the holes on the truck. Does...

Switching back and forth between 87 and 89 octane

My op was more about switching back and forth than the benefits of one over the other. Just wondered if I would see any differences. Sounds like I may get a very minor bump in performance and fuel economy. At least that's what the designers of the vehicle say and some on here report. I will try...
