I had dipped my stock 17"s, but either someone came by and tore part off, or it come off while driving. I put about 5 even solid coats on and let it dry. Not sure what happened but it scared me off of PD
It's a tight squeeze because theres an 01? mustang bullit that sits next to me backed in up to the shelf. Our driver doors have plently of room to get in and out, but passengers have to get out in the driveway.
Go talk to Raytheon. I've worked with their optics division before and I have a friend who does some programming for them. Very established in dfw too. My office is right by their garland campus, and they have a big facility in McKinney

Cars and coffee sucks. Plano BMW is a half decent place but the Plano pd camps outside of it. Most of the cars there are stock with wheels or something stupid. I used to go all the time because I could walk from my apartment.
So I removed the trim level decals from the truck a few weeks ago and found a totally different shade of red underneath and I have a nice hard outline of clear coat built up. It looks like there was hail damage and instead of sanding and repainting, that they taped over the decals and sprayed...
The part that sits on the top of the chrome section has clips that go into the chrome bumper. Unbolt it from the frame and just take the entire front end apart. Its not too bad if you have some pliers and a flathead screw driver.
