This 1000% . I have a 2016 5.7 that I purchased new. I just hit 50,000 miles . No mechanical issues so far (Knock on wood)other than sub par work on my mechanic’s part doing routine maintenance . I absolutely love my truck and baby the hell out of it. This is my first Ram, but have purchased 3...
Clazzios here too. Couldn’t recommend them enough. 45,000 miles(3 1/2 years). Still no sign of wear and make the truck look like it came with leather seats from the factory .
I swapped out the head unit and speakers as soon as I got my express. Went with a kenwood head unit and alpine speakers . I think they’re the type-r ? Don’t remember . Anyway, no amp. It’s very loud and crisp clear sound. I love it.
I’ve had mine for over 3 years and they’ve held up very well. Money well spent . I have the black with grey stitching . I did not cover the lid and left it as is. Doesn’t stand out as my dash is grey as well.
I have the Flowmaster Outlaw with the Carven tips . The sound does change a little. It’s a little deeper sounding . It’s an easy install and love the way they look .
So I had a shop replace my OEM shocks(front and rear ) with Bilstein 4600’s. I went with the Bilsteins after reading through posts here about how much better they were than the OEM. Anyway, the truck rides so much worse now. It feels more “trucky” and bounces all over the place. I installed the...
I can’t comment on the Duratracs, but I’ve had KO2’s on my truck(Express 4wd) for 3 1/2 years now (45,000 miles) . They’ve been great in rain/snow here on Long Island . Plenty of tread left as well. I did have a 2mpg drop though , but that was to be expected since my original rims were 17” and...
Hey everyone . So long story. About a month ago I had my brakes replaced at Mavis . I drove home (about 3 miles ) with no issues. Around 8 pm I go out and a few blocks away from my house I feel the rear end to be a little loose . I look in my mirror and see the rear drivers side tire swaying . I...
I’ve had Clazzios for 3 years now as well. Love them . Still look brand new . Looks like leather sets from the factory . Get many compliments on them . One of the best mods I’ve done .
I change my own oil as well. Have the Fumoto drain plug and use a ziploc bag over the filter when removing it. Never spill a drop of oil . Use Redline 5w/30.
I’ve been using an old canister vac to clean my truck and it’s served me well over the years. It finally crapped out on me so I’m in the market for a new vac . Looking for something lightweight with decent suction. Any recommendations ?
I actually saw this product at the auto parts store and thought about purchasing it, but was a little skeptical. After reading this thread , I did purchase it and am very happy with the ease of use, the time it saves and the finished product. Thanks !
That does not look normal to me for a 2017. My 2016 does not look like that and I live in New York, so my truck has seen its fair share of salt in the 2 years I’ve had it. It could be the previous owner didn’t properly maintain it ? I make sure to wash under my truck after every snowstorm.
As the title says, I did my first oil change after my funoto drain valve install and it made things so much easier and cleaner. Did not spill a single drop off oil . Many thanks to everyone here who mentioned the drain valve or I would have never known about it.
