Along with the necessary harness to tie in the temp and humidity sensor, yes. So far, it's the only solution that has worked 100% of the time ( not a very large data set though).
I would consider starting with just alpha and switching the HVAC configuration to something other than SZMTC...
You're correct, I wasn't attempting to call the '18 module a fix. It appears folks are having better success with it as compared to the version being shipped with their kits.....though I hate making statemens like that without more data by points.

Interesting. I saw no change when running the calibration, it would pass successfully every time, and I could watch the temperature blend door actuator spanning the full range. I used the option under the settings in the attached pic, using "MY>12".
One thought is to push on @Infotainment.com...
Not discounting your question, as I've wondered the same, but the process can be sped up considerably by removing the battery cables and touching them together. I went from single zone MTC to dual zone ATC to single zone ATC in about 10 minutes using this method.

Hold tight, going to try again tomorrow. Was having an issue with the ambient temperature sensor ( leave those settings alone!) that another member just helped me resolve. This would have impacted the function of the ATC. More testing tomorrow.

And I thought I had been keeping up on this thread! Fixed it, thank you! I was missing "ambient temperature sensor present". Set it back to no, mil went out immediately and outside temp displayed.

Well, I tried everything listed above, and the problem is still there.
When trying to run single zone ATC, the slider will span the entire range, but anything above "low" ( full cold) goes to full hot (with auto toggled off).
