    Drunk driving accident

A drunk woman plowed into a parked car in front of my house. I've attatched pictures of the aftermath. The good lord above saw fit to steer both vehicles involved around my RAM, as you'll see in the pictures. Thankfully, we park the challenger far back in the driveway. When are these idiot...

    New members

Is it just me, or does it seem as though the forum has a bunch of new members? I see a bunch with their first post being a question, instead of a hello/introduction etc. Do these new people just make an RF account to ask a question about specific problem with their vehicle, then just go...

    Mickey Thompson Deegan 38 review

Hit the 15,000 mile mark on the Deegan's yesterday and felt like I should write up a review. I hope this helps any of you looking at upgrading from the stock p-metric Goodyear tires. First and foremost, these tires are very quiet for a load range E, M/T tire. They are wearing very evenly, but i...

    Vararam filter cleaning

My 2016 crew 4x4 HEMI has the vararam intake. ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT. That being said, i bought an extra filter to keep clean and oiled for quick swaps. I have the k&n cleaning/oiling kit. Does anyone else clean and oil using the same kit? Thoughts? Sent from my LGMP450 using Tapatalk

    Airlift 1000 review

This past weekend, i was asked to tow a 1977 corvette to an auto show here in buffalo ny. I pulled it on an open car trailer and all i can say is wow!! My Ram had absolutely zero sag with the bags set at 15 lbs. I also set the tire pressure on my load range E tires at 50 lbs. As usual, with the...

    Software updates

I went to the dealership today for regularly scheduled oil change, tire rotation etc. While on the lift, the tech brought me out to the Bay to show me the sliders on the calipers we're almost dry. He told me it's easily something I could do, and it is..but I thought hey, he's a very up front...

Mickey Thompson Deegan 38 snow performance

In case you all don't know the vehicle, I have a 2016 4x4 crew big horn. I had 35" Deegan 38 tires and a leveling kit installed towards the end of the summer of 2017. The tires performance was flawless on and off road during the warm weather, and rainy conditions. Now that we are sitting on a...

    8spd transmission fluid change

My 2016 ram which is approaching 2 years old is coming up on 30,000 miles. When doing my next dealership oil change, I will be having them change the fuel filters also. Has anyone had their 8spd tranny's fluid changed at the dealership? If so, could you give me a ballpark estimate of what you've...

Decided to go in a different direction..

After really looking into the Zeibart undercoating, and finding out I was about to grossly over pay for it.. I decided to get the truck protected with rust proofing oil which is sprayed on, and inside of doors, rockers, tailgate etc. I'm not sure of the product they use, but it wasn't the kind...

    Brake controller installation

When I have my truck in Friday for it's next oil change, the dealership is installing the factory trailer braking controller. I decided to go this route, so it looks as it should from the factory, and it's designed to work with my truck. The total for parts and installation is $300, including...

    Anyone have their trucks ziebarted?

I was given a quote of $1300 to have the entire truck ziebart rust proofing done, the entire truck clay barred, and ceramic coated, and the interior detailed to include stain proofing the carpets and all fabric. I live in Buffalo NY, and the truck is driven in the winter. Do you all think this...

    Eighth mile times?

Have any of you run a 1500 big horn 5.7 crew 4x4 at the track? Except for the vararam, my truck is bone stock, with 3.21 rear and the 8spd. Could any of you chime in with your 1/8th mile times? I'll be running mine at the local track soon, and was wondering what i can expect to run. By the...

    Blank 8.4 screen on startup

Got in my truck after remote starting it today after work. I noticed the stereo screen was black....nothing at all. Yet Howard Stern was playing loud and clear. Shut it off while in the bank. Came out, restarted the truck and all was back to normal. Anyone here ever had this happen, or have a...

    Dealer oil change

Just took my truck in for its second oil change. (16'ram 1500 cc bighorn) I decided to pay the small extra fee for full synthetic, as my basic oil changes are all free. I noticed on the work order, they use a genuine mopar filter. Should I purchase a better one on my own and present it for the...

2016 bighorn cc 1500 hemi mileage.

Drove to Cleveland Ohio from Buffalo NY and back today. Hand calculated the mpg using strict start and stop miles and a fully topped off 32 gallon tank of 87 octane fuel. The 5.7 is all stock with the exception of a Vararam Air Grabber intake. I set the cruise control at 72 mph the whole way...

    Pedal commander

    First time towing

Towed my first trailer with my 2016 1500 bighorn cc last night. I looked at the window sticker, and it says it has trailer brake control. My past experience has been that there is a separate control under the dash panel. There is no such thing on my rig. Is it integrated into the pcm? Because...
