In most states it's illegal for a dealership to install (or leave) a tracker without you written notice and approval. I had the same issue with my Rebel when I purchased it. The dealership claimed to have not knowledge of it. If you didn't sign anything, I say smash it with a hammer or give it...
From plenty of personal experience in the Midwest with 1-2ft of snow at times, I will say the Fallen Wildpeek AT3W were the best by far for price, tractions, and wear. With the original BFG AT T/A KO2 coming close
Yes. The older transmissions are much easier and cheaper. The 8 speed is completely different though.
I miss the $75 trans flush my TF 727 trans in my Dart, but those days are gone.
I use $0.99 lemon juice and a paper towel. After that, I use glass cleaner to take the lemon juice residue off. Super easy and cheap. No need for fancy chemicals.
I'm not sure either. Just don't want to throw $300+ at the problem (fluid change) just to have the torque converter fail 2 months after the warranty ends.
I have a 2017 Rebel (5.7, 4x4) with 90K miles on the clock and my truck has started to do what I feel like is the torque converter shudder. When going up a grade at a constant 45-50mph, it feels like I'm riding on a washboard or rumble strips. At 65-75 I am also getting driveline vibrations, but...
I spent years with this issue and finally just purchased the hellwig sway bar and installed it in the middle setting. I have a Rebel with air ride and my popup camper and a full bed caused a lot of sway. I now have Fox shocks (softer than stock) and the hellwig and it rides smoother with no sway.
Check out this thread. I have the GoRhino D6 and after a few years of Illinois salt they still look great. They are SOLID also.

I got the power stop extreme pads and rotors and they are the worst brakes I have ever had for dust. They were purchased from Summit Racing so I doubt they are knockoffs or anything like that. They stop smoothly and otherwise work well. Not sure if this picture does justice. But this is after...
The aftermarket being discussed here goes in place of the OEM and looks almost identical as can be seen in the mentioned link.

I have had no issues with mine yet. The sheen on it is just slightly different from the stock switches, but unless you look real hard you won't notice it. I would take the chance on the $25 used from Amazon and return it if there are any issues. You will need AlphaOBD or a dealer to enable it...
Thanks for the info. The only issue I have had regarding rust (even though it lived in Illinois for years) is rust on the rear bed tie down hooks. You can see it bubbling up between the welded plate and the tie down hook. I will certain check your recommendation though.
Good suggestion on a separate shop. It's not a Mopar warranty, it's actually through VehiclrOne which is now Ally. It was their top of the line that even covers scuffs or damage to rims and if I get scratch in the rim they replace the rim if it can't be repaired.
I am going to ask about extension as it gets closer. As long as it's a reasonable price, I will likely extend it, but if they want $2-3K for another year or two. It won't be worth it to me.
Lol. Not likely. I'm not going to pay more for a check than what might be needed for a repair. But, considering an engine or trans is a few grand. I don't mind spending a few hundred bucks to ensure everything is good while it's under warranty.
I don't mind paying for a comprehensive test. But I want to make sure they are checking the right things and not just a visual test. I am mechanically inclined enough to tear the engine down and rebuild it myself, but would rather have it done while under warranty.
I have an extended bumper-to-bumper warranty on my 2017 Rebel (5.7L, 4x4) that is going to run out in about 6 months. I have about 88K on the clock right now and no noticeable issue except I think the driver side mirror heating element is not working so I will be taking it in soon for that as it...
I had a tradesman with factory fog lights. There really wasn't a marking but you just pushed in (towards the dash) on the light dial. Once on though, they stayed on for each restart.
