Just an update for anyone else that has had to deal with this issue. First of all Dealing with the "Star" Team at Ram is incredibly difficult. I'm glad you said that. I wanted to try a custom HF tune but I was afraid that if I tried it and it didn't work then I would be really stuck. Ram would just deny any further warranty claims. Yeah I wish mine would have done that. I also had my tranny solenoid replaced the same day. I had taken to the dealership before that complaining of transmissions issues and they still didn't check for the solenoid recall. :rolleyes:- OzarksRam

Mine are similar to those but something to keep in mind if you get in the bed of your truck or in a tool box a lot a full length step would be handy. I wish mine had a step below my tool box so I can get into easier. -

6.4 transmission staying too high
Yeah the 3rd gear thing drives me crazy. Your example of coming out of a roundabout is what mine does as well. Which tire
I had them put on right before turkey season and everywhere I 've driven they have had really good grip. We've had lots of rain so all the farm roads have been really muddy. They've done better than I expected. They are surprisingly quiet too. Granted I was coming from a M/T so anything would... -

I just put a set of Dick Cepek Trail Country EXPs in 295/70R17 on my 2500. Haven't seen many reviews on them in the HD platform but they were a lot cheaper so I tried them out. We'll see. So far they have much less howl than my MTs. -

I have Maxxis MTs on my 6.4. They are 325/60/18. I have about 18k on them and they are definitely showing signs of wear. I'm hoping they will reach 30k. Road noise is normal for a mud tire. Linex sprayed today and windows tinted....
Dang I honestly have not heard of a ceramic tint before. After having Lasik Eye Surgery I became more sensitive to light. The glare from headlights at night really bug me. Being able to cut down on the glare would be nice. So much good stuff from this forum.- OzarksRam

I think it depends on the dealers and how they decide to order their trucks. When I was looking for my truck I was coming from a Chevy where I believe almost all of them have LSD. In my situation I can't honestly remember. I know the gas light wasn't on because I rarely drive around when its on. It also probably wasn't full because it doesn't seem to stay on "F" for very long...unless Its parked.- OzarksRam
