    Lifted and Preformance

I have 2014 Ram 1500 Big Horn. It has the 8 speed tranny. But I have a 6 inch BDS lift with a 3 inch PA body lift. I'm running 38's on 20 inch wheels. Weight is about 140lbs a wheel with the tire. I installed flowmaster cat back exhaust, american racing headers long tube, K&N cold air intake...

AMP Research Steps Plug & Play Issue

Just to update this thread. It ended up being the aftermarket remote start that I had installed in 2015. The harness went bad and caused the issue. After getting it replaced I've had no issue with the amp research steps causing the battery draw.

AMP Research Steps Plug & Play Issue

Oh this is great! I appreciate the info. I'll try to clean them out really good to see if that's the issue. If not then I'll test to see if the controller is bad. I will keep you all posted. This is why this forum is great. Something as rare as this and you guys find the solution.

AMP Research Steps Plug & Play Issue

So I have had these steps for about a year. They have been great and better be for the $1700 price tag right? I have a 2014 Ram 1500 and in the past 2 months the battery has gotten to a point where its drained by morning. At first I thought it was the battery due to its original to the truck so...

    37’s or 35’s with 6in lift 2011 ram 1500 4wd

I had a 6inch BDS lift with 37s and didn't rub at all. Unless it gets out of alignment than it might. I upgraded later with a 3 inch body lift and put 38s on. But mine's 2014 with the 8 speed transmission. I put the lift on with about 33k miles on it. I am about to hit 100k miles and no issues...

Haha. Does it seem like everyone wants to race? I feel like I can keep up with most but with 38s laws of physics doesn't work out.

Ohhhhhhh that's right the 2011's had the 5 speed transmission. Mine was the first year they put the 8 speed trannys in. Sounds like you got everything though. I bet the 24s look great. Looks like the only thing we are missing is the supercharger lol.

I did some upgrades to help performance. Upgraded the front and rear axle ratio to 3.92 was 3.21. Also, upgraded exhaust to flow master, new headers, cold air intake, superchip to extreme tune, and my favorite upgrade is the pedal commander. But I get it I had the nitto all terrain 37s on...

37’s too big for 2014 ram 1500 5.7 Hemi big horn?

You're going to want 37's. Just be keep an eye on the brake pads. They tend to wear a little faster. Also, get yourself a pedal commander. It'll help with acceleration with the bigger tire. I'm running 38's. Here is mine.

Any bad experiences with Pedal Commander?

It's completely worth the money. I have had mine for several months and no issues what so ever. One of the best things I've bought for my truck. You can set it to help with MPGs, but who buys a truck for gas mileage? You won't regret it.

    37's and 3.21. Here I go again...

Hey Wyatt, I own a 2014 Ram 1500 with 3.21 gears. I put a 6 inch BDS suspension lift on it with 37 inch nitto G2's. I ran 37s for 2 years and no issues. However, I had a few minor performance upgrades. Super chip tuner, flowmaster cat back exhaust and a cold air intake. I never felt it drag at...

    37's and 3.21. Here I go again...

I have 3.21's on my truck and running 38 inch nitto ridge grapplers. I have the 6 inch suspension with 3 inch body lift. But also did the super chip upgrade with flowmaster exhaust and cold air intake. Even with 38's it jumps on acceleration. Never had issue and it's been 2 years so far. I had...

    Body lift issues?

I have a 3 inch PA body lift on top of my 6 inch BDS suspension lift. Haven't had any issues with the body lift. I had it professionally installed and they did a great job. Only thing is the exhaust doesn't sit flush with the bumper anymore. I thought it would bother me but I like it a little...

The wheels are 20x10 fuel krank d517. Offset is -12 and back spacing is 5.00. I don't get any rubbing at all. I did a little when i only had the 6 inch lift on it. They had to do some trimming after the springs cooled. But with the 3 inch body lift it'll clear 38s easily. Once the tires wear out...
