Making some progress. @Quick_Shifter hooked me up with 5100s all around. Front set at 2.2" and 1" rebel springs in the rear. 1" rake is just what I was looking for. Now to decide on wheels and tires.
Right on. Appreciate it. Once I get the suspension sorted I'll look at getting the muffler replacement done.
I want some tone, but don't want to wake up the family when I leave the house at 5am.
Lol its a long story but ultimately it's closer to my wife's work and family. I work from my home office so it didn't matter where.
I miss somethings about PA and dont miss others, thats for sure.
Honestly, you nailed the look I was thinking. My last truck was like yours 3" lift with 35s, but I'm not feeling it on this truck. I was thinking 2" front and 1" rear with maybe slightly larger tires.
Lol.
Tint is done. The dealer badges are done. Go Rhino steps installed. Rhino liner...
@Quick_Shifter sharp looking truck! Reminds me a lot of my 4th gen. I wish my 5th gen didnt have so much chrome, but that's what you get buying used. May have some wrap work done down the road.
Deal!
Well may not be as much an issue. Sounds like supply chain issues + black Friday has pretty much everyone clean out of inventory of nearly everything but spacer lifts! The wait begins...
The Fox 2.0 would be a nice option...more than twice the price, so I'll have think hard on that for my use and all in price.
If it comes down to it, I can do eibach pro truck stuts/springs or bils and just eat the cost to have someone assemble them. I liked the Bils in my 4th gen. The strut...
Nice @Quick_Shifter and @Kevin Falerios.
I think I have a general direction. I picked up a set of ORP rear springs for free which will give me 1" lift in the rear. Going to do 2" struts in the front. Brand is still in the air. I have message out to Nick to get pricing and options. I'm trying to...
I had a 4th gen tradesman express with the black appearance package that I had done bilstein 5100's and a small rear spacer to keep pretty level. Paired it up with 17x9x-12 wheels and 35x12.5 ridge grapplers. loved the truck and the look. I traded it in July '20 for a 4runner that I enjoyed but...
Yeah I went looking for it when I first noticed the sound because I had completely forgot about the electric power steering.

Interesting, had not thought of the rack. Wheel still turns smooth with no noticeable clunk or binding. I almost wonder if its just the ridge grapplers catching air. I have had the tires for 2 years so I would think I would have noticed it sooner if it was them.

For lack of better spot, I'm posting here.
2014 1500 crew cab with 84k miles.
I've started noticing a noise when turning the wheel a few degrees. Is mostly prominent on long bends where you hold the wheel at a constant angle of less than 90 degrees for several seconds. I would describe it...
My off roading consists mostly of trails to our hunting camp, which is hardly off roading. The beach will be the most. I appreciate the info. I'll take a look at the right straps.

Right! shovel was supposed to be on that list already, good catch. That said its free to have friend pull you out $500 if the DNR officers have to lol

I do not have a winch. I will be carrying several things with me: tow strap, jack and likely ramps. My truck has the aesthetic front bumper so no factory hooks. I was thinking of putting a front receiver on for a hook if needed not to mention a rod and cooler carrier.
