Thanks for the numbers. What benefit do those provide? Or are those the radius arms? Maybe if I am feeling rich one day I will make the swap. The spring bow in my setup is very slight and not much worse than the original.
I think something with a little more positive offset would be ideal. +12 to +20mm maybe. I will update after my alignment today and let you know if it changed anything. If not I will have to take a heat gun to the fender liner and mold it a bit.
The powerwagon stuff saved me about $350-400 vs going to Thuren and a lot more than that going to Carli. I knew what I was getting with the power wagon stuff and being OEM I was more than happy and didn't need to go aftermarket.
I just installed powerwagon front suspension parts, a steering brace and new shoes. I kept the rear stock. Below is the breakdown.

Mines noisy, clunky, whiny. I tell myself its a big truck thing to make myself feel better. I noticed it drives and sounds completely different when you don't ***** foot around with it. It drives better under heavier acceleration or under load. I have 4.10s for reference.
I think we all would agree with you. I have owned both and they are awesome engines. The only problem I have is that the 6.4 I own currently doesn't sound nearly as good as my 5.7 with dual exhaust. :) But seriously I have been in the forums for a few years and I cant recall any serious engine...
I called the service department and spoke to a tech. He knew exactly what I was talking about and assured me it was normal noise. He offered to go for a ride to see if there was something else going on but I decided to just monitor it for now and if it changes or gets worse I will address it...
Still getting this noise. Sounds like a groaning sound when there is no load on the driveline during 4wd. I do get a slight noise when under load but I can accept that as normal 4wd noise.
@spoon059. You never let off the gas while in 4wd? Haha I'm not sure how often you use 4hi but my truck can stay in 4wd for consecutive days this time of year when the weather is bad. I know when I need to use it or not. 2wd is useless with the lake effect and hills we have.
I have a new Ram 2500 and just got my foes experience in the snow where 4wd hi was used at highway speeds. I noticed that while coasting I had a sound that was similar to what a bad wheel bearing would sound like. A groan or whine. It was most evident while coasting but could also be slightly...
What is the PW front hub (middle of the wheel) to fender measurement. My stock outdoorsman has about a 3" rake and I'm trying to see if putting PW coils on would be a good level as far as height. Something that concerns me is the height I would gain putting these coils on my truck without the...
How did they confirm they were PW specific? I ask because if they just looked at the description then its not specific enough. I wonder if they knew the PW springs were unique.
Looks like a great tire to me and I am waiting for Discount Tire to run their promotion on Ebay before I purchase. Its between these and the Falken A/Tw3
Please do. I am interested as well. My dealer quoted me $75/coil (their cost) and although I specifically requested PW parts I am skeptical that she got the correct springs.
I was looking at these tires as well as the Nitto Exo Grapplers. Both are aimed at the "hybrid" market with the 3 peak snowflake rating. As a fellow Syracusan I wouldnt hesitate to get these tires. I had the ATP's on a previous truck and I dont think they would be as good as these but worlds...
My father in law has a 2015 Chevy 2500 with the 6.2. I have a ram 2500 6.4 with 4.10. My truck rides so much smoother. Any bumps or ruts in his truck feel like Im riding in a tractor. I almost had to get out of his truck because on the way into deer camp the trail was a little rough and his...
