I changed 16 plugs in mine (Hemi) which required taking out the air intake box and me taking my time, took me 3.5 hours, I am not sure what has to be removed to get to all 6 plugs, but even on a front drive 3.6 where you have to take the upper intake manifold off to get the back three doesn't...
I've had the dealer not tighten the oil filter THREE TIMES!!! pulled out the next morning to oil on the garage floor. Let them know, the service manager shrugged his shoulders. That's ok, Ram is still under warranty and the dealer does all the maintenance, so any problems, it's their issue.
I just had my water pump replaced under warranty along with the thermostat and looks like the temp sensor. Now the temp bounces between 203-213 F. I did heat it up and open the cap and there were quite a few bubbles escaping but probably didn't get it all out.
Also, at three years and about...
Two single axle U Haul trailers, one double axle trailer to move with. Then bought a 16' Travel Trailer, basically pulling a brick through the air but the Ram does it great. Electronic brakes work like a charm.
My battery in my '16 made it almost to 6 years. Went dead at camp, had to wait a while for a jump. Fortunately there was an Auto Parts store in the nearest town and had that battery, $220.
Bought new in 2016 with 35 miles. Just before it turned 12k miles, the rear window started leaking, so the entire rear slider assembly was replaced under warranty. I had purchased the extended warranty, and at 65k I had all the manifold bolts replaced for about the cost of the warranty. Other...
Mine did that for the first few seconds upon cold start up, then stopped. Was manifold bolts on both sides, so got all new bolts and heat shields (extended warranty).
I just put in Autolite Double Platinum, that was all I could get, they were about $5 a piece. The NGK Iridiums were $13.99 ea and backordered. Wasn't a bad experience, I have a nice toolset so the different sized extensions and the swivel attachments worked well. Honestly, the rear three...
This year:
-brake pads on all four wheels, all evenly worn
-rear shocks
-Transmission fluid and pan
This week:
-had the exhaust manifold bolts replaced, the rear two were broken on both sides. I have an aftermarket warranty that is now in effect since the factory warranty is up, so had a $100...
I changed mine as well in April with 65k miles. Fluid was dirty and full of metal shavings. Shifts much better now. ZF recommends 50k change. I put the replacement pan in with the removable filter so I can change that out next time. Was a PIA but not impossible, had to use a Torx bit and a...
I took mine through Ziebart in Haskell, NJ for mine. I like the evolution, they drilled no holes, simply removed grommets in the doors and body to spray the honey colored stuff into the body crevices and of course coated the bottom with the tar like stuff. I get lots of mixed reviews on...
