    From chrome to color match!

Looks great. Been wanting to do that for years. Gives the truck a totally different look.

    Is this normal? Paint shade

I guess I’m going to have to pull up next to another delmonico red to compare. Was told it was delmonico red but maybe seller didn’t know any better and I was in my work car when I picked it up.

    Is this normal? Paint shade

That very well could be it. My truck is always in the Florida sun and the grill has been off a vehicle and in the garage for awhile (probably at least a year). Now I guess I have to decide if I will leave like this or put the chrome surround back on.

    Is this normal? Paint shade

I purchased a grill from Ram owner who changed his grill to black one. The plastic grill surround looks different shade than my hood. Is it just me or is this normal from plastic to metal. Maybe someone with Delmonico red can chime in?

    tailgate parts swap

This is very easy. I swapped mine after my wife backed in to our mailbox. You need an 8 mm, a fat torx bit/socket can't remember what size. Maybe pliers or screwdriver to pop the latch rods off. The easy way is remove one piece at a time and put it on your new tailgate if you think you will...

    Powerfold mirrors

Cableman, where do you get them painted for that price? Or did you find some take offs locally?

    New rims and tires

Man, I did not wax/ceramic coat them. I should have but didn't think about that, too excited about getting them on. If any suggestions for what to use on them I'm all ears. Otherwise I'll use the same wax that I'll use on the body. I also got some factory take off fender flares (already...

    Water under the rear seat

apriliaalex if you are looking for a fix, check the cabin vents. They are the vents under the back window between the bed and cab. You have to remove the rear seat to get to them. Take them out caulk and re-install. I did all the other fixes first but this is where mine was leaking from. No...

    New rims and tires

Finally put my Motiv wheels and Nitto Ridge Grapplers on (33 12.5 X 20). It's a 2WD drive with a Supreme leveling kit.

    Sticky dashboard?

I saw an old post where someone said they sprayed it with Simple Green Degreaser. Have you tried anything like that?

    Sticky dashboard?

I have a 16 Ram 1500 with around 25,000 miles. My dashboard is very tacky sticky. I live in Florida so I'm sure the sun didn't help this too much but does anyone else have this problem? Do you know what works to fix this? Any chemicals safe to spray that will work?

2.1" of rain yesterday = wet rear seat and floor

There is also a problem with the cabin vents under the rear window (in between bed and cab of truck). I had my brake light sealed and changed gasket before figuring this out (kept getting wet in truck). I pulled them out and caulked around them and reinstalled. Drove me crazy having my truck...

    Which upper control arm?

Thanks for replys, I ordered the more expensive Mevotechs. Hopefully all I need.

    Which upper control arm?

I am getting ready to put supreme leveling spacers on my 2016 Ram 1500 2WD. My question is Rockauto has 2 different Mevotech control arm part numbers. One is GS251058 for 34.79 and another is CMS251058 for 59.79. Can someone tell me which ones are the ones they are using to replace the...

Cabin water leak other than brake light or window

I wanted to comment and say thanks because this helped fixed my leak issue. Anyone who has the rear carpet getting wet should try this fix by sealing the cabin vent. Thanks for posting the info.

Battling water leaking under the rear seat

I wanted to update you guys as I think the problem is gone. I removed the passenger seat behind the driver and put silicone caulk around the cabin vent that is under the rear window. This seams to have done the job and we had a hard rain today and so far no water. I will check again in a few...

Battling water leaking under the rear seat

Thank you RamCares. I picked up the truck today and in true Florida fashion it was raining when I picked it up. Unfortunately the carpet was wet when I got home. I may try to check the cabin vent over the weekend. I'm trying to minimize the amount of times I have to go in to work late or...

Battling water leaking under the rear seat

Mine is having the same issue. It's back at the dealership right now for the second attempt to fix it. They said they sealed 3rd brake light and put silicone on part of the rear window but under my rear driver's side seat keeps getting wet. I'll see what they come up with now when the leak...

    Truck leveling

I just got the Supreme 2.5 inch spacer. I'm going to try that and see how the ride is. I was also contemplating the Maxtrac 2.5 level springs for the 2WD. I almost pulled the trigger but mixed reviews. To be honest there is really a lack of options for the 2 WD. I figure if I try the...

2 WD level or lift help

Man, your trucks look good. Did you do anything to the rear or just the front 2.5 lift? I'm debating if I should spring for the Fox shocks. I had Rancho 9000 on my old Jeep and was really happy with them.

2 WD level or lift help

Thank you, good to hear. I’m looking at the kits with their own branded shocks with the springs or Fox shocks and springs.

2 WD level or lift help

I’m posting because I’m getting a lot of conflicting info on the web. Looking for a good level or small lift (3 inch max) for my Ram. Does anyone have experience with Maxtrac 3 inch kit or any good suggestions? Was looking for something like the Bilstein adjustables but looks like not...

Mopar Folding Cover for RamBox P/N 82212184AB

I don't have that cover but I do have ramboxes. If that cover is soft canvas you may want to go with something like a bakflip for the same price and it will be a solid fold cover. I also thought that the mopar cover required (came with) different rails then a rambox without the factory cover...
