    Thanks for the response. I typically see this happen when the truck sits for over an hour and then I go to get something out of it. When I open the door or hit the unlock button it must wake up the modules and then the pump may or may not come on just for a couple of seconds.

    These 8 speeds as mentioned above are nearly bullet proof. Seeing over 500 trucks a month in my shop, specifically pick up trucks, I have only seen one that needs a transmission and that happens to be in the shop now.
