Finally retired the factory battery on my 2011...good run, RIP. But damn.....I guess she's been limping along for a while. Just swapped in a AMG battery from the local parts store and it's never cranked like this. lol It just started acting weak the last few days but the top end sure feels a...- nateinva

Tell me what parts I need....torque converter swap
Hey man....truck is running great! I haven't had a chance to take it anywhere yet. Hopefully one of these days. I'm hoping my buddy that did the install will hurry up and add one at his shop. Truck is very responsive from bottom to top. I will say it still bogs down on the low end at times...- nateinva

Headlights
No offense, taste is individual and options are good. Us 4th genners though are at the end of our options as I'm sure new products will shift to 5G trucks. It's either get the best of the cheap aftermarket options or pay for a custom retrofit setup. -

Cam and Lifters: Is it Easier to Pull the Motor
I'd replace them......relatively small cost in parts while it's all staring at you. Agree on the headers as well....lol- nateinva

Are you replacing factory or upgrading? If you decide on headers and a converter at the same time I'd say pull it. If just replacing stock, no need to rip it out....can be done tearing it down but by the time you get there it 'might've' looked easier to pull...lol Good luck, just dealt with...- nateinva

Chrysler Warranty - Misfire, Lifters & Cam possible culprit
I think it's going to be impossible to get an accurate number due to out of warranty vehicles not going to the dealer for repairs. The dealership is much higher out of pocket cost for the repair vs. going to a qualified 3rd party mechanic. If a 3rd party does the repair the information never...- nateinva

Yes this....and the cam material getting into the lifter causing it to stick. Sure makes sense........wish they'd issue a recall so I could turn some receipts in lol- nateinva

DDM HID low beam/LED high beam
Glad you are happy with them. Can't believe how well they perform compared to other lighting options. Love mine. I think I'm going to get some LED 9005s for the highs and call it a day. I don't use/need them much anyway as the HID lows and LED fogs do a great job. Still debating yellow or... -
Suggestions for Tire Pressure Gauges?
My tire shop gave me a freebie 10 years ago and I've kept it across several vehicles. A quick fill up and check with this guage always matches the EVIC. Good enough for me.... -
V6 E fan. Worth it?
I'm not sure there's any data on it but it's possible removing the clutch fan could prolong water pump life as well....just speculating?- nateinva

Regardless of any minor power gains, real or imaginary, I just liked the room it frees up in front of the motor. I'd do it just for that alone. And yes, end user can set fan speeds with tuner as far as I know. If I'm wrong someone please correct me. I know I've seen it in the menu on my I2...- nateinva

People asked on Facebook recently and Jay Greene chimed in. Basically, yes it works as advertised but is handled with custom tuning on trucks newer than 2007 I believe. Would have to go back and read but he said it's worth it on the earlier years. But yes, it does what it's supposed to do and...- nateinva
