    I’ve always replaced rotors with pads. Price is close to the same if paying a shop to resurface them.

    Gear Ratios on the 1500

    I wanted the 3.92, but they were hard to find in my area unless you order one, which didn’t offer the same incentives at the time. If the price was close, I would go with a 3.92 for the fun factor. If the 3.21 is a much better deal, I would take it instead. I’m a tightwad though!

    Billstein 5100 vs Rough Country 2" levelling strut?

    I did bilstein’s at 2.1 up front and couldn’t feel any different in ride quality. My only issue was being nose high with a heavy bed load. I ended up putting in a 1 inch spacer in the rear which helped. If I had to do all over again, I would have just set them to 1.4 inches.

    Finally decided on an Oil for doing my own oil changes

    Mobil one with fram ultra synthetic filter. Been doing that for the last 10 years on my ram and previous Dakota. I think most full synthetic’s are fine though.

    I usually change mine every 8000 miles. Mobil one. Never did an oil analysis but the old oil still looks great.

    I usually fill up with 87 from Samsclub. Its usually the cheapest in my area. I put in lucas oil gas treatment every 3 months to give me piece of mind. The lucas treatment almost pays for itself because of the gas mileage difference. I get about 2 mpg better when added.

    I bought a 12”x36” roll of 3m tape from amazon for about 30 bucks. Took my time and applied it to the front 2 inches of hood, lower rocker panels, etc. Turned out great, just sprayed down the surface with soapy water, apply, then squish out with plastic applicator.

    Well so far my local ram dealership has been awesome. Only used them 3 times for recalls, no bs from anyone. The gm dealership that I’ve used for my wife’s car is a total shitshow. Claimed she needed new brakes, battery and tires. It had all been changed about a year prior!

    Comfort of Tradesman drivers' seat

    I previously had an express with cloth seats and thought they were great. I have a bighorn now and love the power drivers seat, only real difference imo.
