    I wanted to pop my mirrors (glass) out to remove and wrap my chrome cover but the glass was not wanting to give way. I was more worried of screwing up the motors than breaking the mirror glass.     Yeah same here, my pipes were pretty much butted together with no more room for shortening the length. I think my passenger side sticks out about 1/2" more than the driver's side.

    Definitely check out customwheeloffset.com and filter the gallery view. That website helped me make my decision the most and they're good about answering questions if you hit them up. As for what I got (from them actually), it's in my sig. No trimming, no rubbing.
