Marginal AC ?
My 2019 Ram 2500 and my 2021 Ram 1500, both had terrible AC performance. My 2019 couldn't keep cool if it was over 90 outside, like I had to roll the windows down on the highway. I almost did the heater core ball valve mod to fix it, but traded in on a F250 instead. I was hoping for improvements...- RainDesert

Dumb question about tires
Most owners who want more sidewall go with the 18" wheel. If you are set on the 20" wheel size, going up one size in tires will slightly increase your sidewall. What size are the tires in the photo?- RainDesert

2500 - Do I want the 3.73 or 4.10?
I had a 2019 2500 with the 4.10. I was certain I wanted 4.10 going in after having 2 Ford 6.2's, one with 3.73 the next with 4.30. The 4.30 was well worth it in the ford with their 6 speed. Gear swap
I would talk to my dealer about having the factory 3.92 gear set installed. When I looked into this on a previous truck it really was not going to cost much more, and you can have everything programmed correctly to match the new gearing.- RainDesert

You are starting to hate the V6 and the Hemi is just so popular for a reason, You have a 2019 and could step into a 2020, The dealer is telling you pretty much straight across trade, That deal seems almost too good to be true. I would do it in a second.- RainDesert

Thank you for clarification. My dealer did recharge mine but it did not do the trick. So for my previous 2019 I would think the full TSB would be the remedy. At least I feel confident about a working AC if I order a new Ram again.- RainDesert

When you say max cool, you mean no ac? Mine blew warm air on cool days, with vent at coolest setting, with no AC on. Thx- RainDesert

2020 2500 6.4/ 3.73 Gas Mileage!
Thats great mileage! Thanks for posting your experience. I enjoy tracking all the big 3 HD gassers these days. Back when I was all diesel the big 3 had 6.0 vortec, Ford and Dodge v-10's. Need tire suggestions
Q is right.^ The Michelin Defender LTX is what you are looking for. I have purchased 3 sets. They also do very well on snowy roads. If you are most worried about towing handling I would recommend staying with an 18" wheel and going to the LT rated tire(80 psi).- RainDesert
