exhaust manifold leak vs. hemi tick
So my truck started ticking with around 48k mi, switched from Amsoil SS 5w30 to Redline 5w30, been running the stuff for a little over 500 mi now and it didn't get any better, if anything sometimes it's worse. DIY thermal bypass valve replacement - 8 speed temps back under control
My truck's trans was always running kinda hot for my liking (195 under normal cruising) and I read quite a few posts on how this was supposedly normal. jacking up front end/jack stand placement
Is there any way to jack the front of the truck both tires at a time with a single jack? Can you put a floor jack under the center of the front crossmember and lift from there, then put stands under either the crossmember or the control arms? torque specs front driveshaft 4th Gen 1500
As the title says, whats the torque spec on the flange bolts holding the front driveshaft to the front diff on a 4th gen half ton? read somewhere it may be 22 lb-ft, seems kinda low to me?- nomercy346

8 speed tranny, running hotter than usual
Hi guys, just noticed my tranny reaching temps it usually wouldn't. It used to run at around 190 deg, cruising on the highway at 80 mph. Now it seems to slowly inch higher the longer you drive. Hi, I'm Hagen and I bought my first truck in January. It's a 2014 1500 Hemi 4x4, Sport trim, all black and pretty much loaded, as far as Sports go. It had only 26k mi when I got it.
