So I am joining the broker manifold bolt crowd at 41,000 miles on my 2017. Passenger side, rear. I can take it to the dealer (under warranty I believe) or do headers and am a bit torn on what to do. I know warrantied it would cost $0 but I do plan on keeping this at least 4 more years and I...
I have had them now since May 2019. The first batch operationally was perfect - but did have the burn issue and were warrantied and replaced without questions. The second set has been flawless now for about a year. I came from quads and the improvement is literally night and day.
I had the progressive - I listened to a lot of video and thought it was what I wanted. It sounds great, and the cold starts are awesome. However, they are not awesome if you live in a subdivision and leave your house early. My wife was not happy about being woke up when I tried to sneak out...
Living in WNY I feel your pain - just installed the Z36 a couple of weeks ago at 35,000 miles because my rotors were shot (pads had 25% ish left). Just the joys of living in the snow belt.
I just replaced mine at 34,000 miles to the powerstop z36. Bed them in yesterday and they seemed great. My stock rotors were toast, pads had about 35% left. My truck sits outside in WNY year round so I was not surprised.
I get a similar noise in mine and if I press down on the top left part of the trip above the radio it goes away. I am thinking I may pull it all apart this spring and see if I can figure out what it is. Because I know damn well that dealers are nearly always worthless when it comes to stuff...
I would only caution this from personal experience - we had a lease on a Durango years ago and our buyout was way less than what the dealership could buy it out for. Ultimately we ended up writing a check to buy it and trading it in as we did have significant equity in it. I am not sure if all...
If they don't have a jack heavy enough to rotate his tires I am assuming they mean they don't have a jack to lift a 2500 Ram. Because what difference would the brand of tire make? I see no reason to change from the KO2's - they are superb tires.
Hennesey is a brand I would never ever ever ever buy given their past history, especially as it relates to the viper community. Well documented shenanigans.
I have had the Morimoto's since May 2019 (I think it was May). I did return a set because of the melting. That site functionally was really good. The replacement is really good as well. I have a '17 that came with quads. The XB's are far superior in my opinion. I do not have any experience...
Mine have been on about a year and the only flaw they have is that small 1" burn mark. But, they are being replaced in the very near future for free with whatever the newest version is due to this manufacturing flaw (I have held off on replacing them due to the winter here and not wanting to...
