I posted/commented on my wait time awhile back(more than a 6 months easy id say)for service..I waited 3 weeks...dealer here has a several of the makers with separate lots and service buildings for each.....wife's Toyota gets in within a day or 2 every time she calls(oil change)when I can't get...

Most local auto parts stores will lend(pay then refunded when returned) or rent out the tools for a job like the spring compressor...I did mine that way.

I've never greased my hitch and it's never been taken out,normal amount of extterior light rust..nothing to worry about....
I you are dead set on a lube....use a dry film grahite or silicone type...garage door roller spray would work...as others have stated will collect crap in there

I hear ya.....if I remember right I think I had the largest square opening..porch/pool screen I think it was...I believe those are larger...1 of them hurricanes tore my back porch screen(luckily that was all)so I fixed it and used whatever that was on the guard....
I doubt I would ever...

I zip tied the window screen on the brush guard before to see if that would help my rad.I instantly saw my temps go up,screen not even clogged up.By go up I mean 212-220 area not...
My man!.....im all for not caring on an older engine/vehicle and keepin the cabbage in the wallet....I got that way on my last truck....it didn't die.
I tried all this magnet stuff on that truck,maybe it helped maybe it didnt..better for my piece of mind at that time when I did care...
It'll run like Wildone said.That hone you have can get you in trouble quick if you dont have a measuring device of some sort....
If money is a concern and that hole is bugging you,instead of doing(boring)all the holes and buying a full set of pistons, take it to a shop and have them bore/hone...

Did my plugs at about 130k..no idea if original or not..gap was pretty big and burned like a ball point pen,no codes.....switched to iridiums...I will never change them again with these in there.
