    Just finished a 2800 mile trip from Arkansas to the Grand Canyon the 4 corners area and Chama New Mexico then back pulling a 7100 lb 34 ft long travel trailer 11.4 ft tall.     Payload capacity problem solved

    My 2013 Ram Laramie was rated to tow up to 8400 lbs . When I subtracted our 32 foot Cherokee's hitch weight of 770 lbs from the max allowable weight (on the yellow door sticker)of only 1070 lbs it left only 300lbs for me , DW and the dog .
