I have a 2015 2500 SLT 4X4 5.7 and I'm looking for the following parts:
Cover - Jack Storage / Grey 1JA35DX9AC
And these upgrade jack hold down stud & wing nut.
If you could let me know price & shipping to 32714 / Orlando FL area.
I'm having trouble finding these parts with the numbers listed. When I put the number in the search bar it says no part found - ??
Anyone have a link to a site selling these?
This did not happen all of a sudden. This was happening over a period of time. You should felt something. There is too much damage to the inside of the wheel to be a sudden issue. In my opinion.
I am rather partial, but I have a '15 2500 4X4 with the 5.7 and it has more than enough juice and it rides like a truck is supposed to. If you're looking for a truck that will ride well you should probably be looking at the smaller trucks like a Colorado, Frontier, Ranger etc. 2500's are built...
Oh my goodness. You're a genius! I hate changing the oil because of the oil that runs all over when I remove the filter. I will do this at my next change.
As for my oci, I run Valvoline synthetic and change at 10,000 with a standard size Wix filter.
Now that I have my truck back and the transmission is better than it ever has been, I am rethinking my stance on selling it around 100,000 miles. I have confidence in the transmission now so I feel more secure about it's longevity. Especially since they rebuilt it and not just replaced a part...
Got my truck back last night. Driving it home put a big grin on my face (the fact that it cost me $0.00 certainly is a part of that). The tranny has not been this good since I've owned it. I had appointments to go look at a few cars today, but cancelled all of them.
I was informed yesterday that my truck is ready. I was told that they rebuilt the transmission. It had scorched the clutches and a few other parts were taken out as well. I have yet to pick it up. Hopefully it will be a full recovery :-)
Agreed about the warranty. I will definitely broom this one before the 100,000 mile drive train warranty is up. Which is sad. It's been a great truck but I have always heard about the transmissions being the weak point. I thought that had been worked out prior to 2015. The only issues I have...
Holy crap! It took a month to get it fixed? I hope mine doesn't take that long. Thank goodness yours & mine are under warranty, I would hate to have to pay that bill. I bet it was well over $6,000.00 for what they did to your transmission.
