01 Ram Clicking under dash, passenger side

The Actuator can be removed without removing the dash. It's close to the floor, not the most fun thing to do. I pulled my carpet away from the duct. I made a straight slit in the rubber flooring for room. Using a tiny screwdriver, and bring it down. The plastic hinge is probably crumbled. Order...

    Tail Light Issue

There is a ground wire in the front of the bed, on the passenger side. I believe it's 10mm, if I can remember right. Could that be the one you had forgotten?

Keeping steering stabilizer with Redhead steering gear?

I believe Redhead sells a stabilizer as well, which leads me to believe it will work with it. I've read too many bad things about them, and bought a Blue Top. It's well built, and the stabilizer works with it.

    stutteing

ABS light is the rear speed sensor, most likely. Stuttering could be O2 sensors, or ignition. The fuel level could be the pump assembly itself, or possible electrical issue. Check those first.

T-Type steering. I know this has been talked about, but I need help!

Since yours is a 94, your best bet is to buy 1999 Ram 2500HD rods. They bolt right in. Factory upgrade setup.

    LMC Steering Shaft

UPDATE: the shaft arrived. For anyone considering this shaft, it is NOT a Borgeson. Looks like one, though. It does NOT have set screws, it closes around the gear box, and steering shaft, and tightens with Allen-head screws, similar to the way a stock replacement attaches with bolts. It is...

    LMC Steering Shaft

With all the steering issues, I'm surprised no one has tried the LMC shaft. I ordered one, I'll update on whether or not it's worth it.

    LMC Steering Shaft

Hi all, My search didn't find what I was looking for. My '99 Sport has a loose UV joint in the steering shaft. I know LMC has a "factory" replacement, and a heavy duty one. They don't show what company makes the heavy duty one. I asked them. I want to make sure it's not a Borgeson. Has...

    Vacuum Problems

Besides the lines under the hood, have you run new lines to the back of the climate controls? Check that, and the main connection behind the controls. Something in the lines could be cracked, but hidden.

Just checking to see if you ran rubber to the back of the climate control, and those lines are attached below the dashboard.

Curise Control and Vent doors, possible vacume leak?

The check valve is on the passenger side, near the firewall. You'll see thin plastic lines come out of the intake manifold, and into the firewall. To fix everything permanently, buy 3mm inlet diameter rubber tubing, clip the factory plastic lines, and squeeze the rubber onto those lines. Bypass...

    Transmission rebuild

What are the problems? Sometimes, simple sensor replacements, adjustments, etc. can fix everything. If you're dedicated to a rebuild, TransGo has a full kit. A few guys have even ordered the 47RE kit, (as opposed to 46RE) for a stronger rebuild. GM pressure sensor, Borg Warner solenoid, there...

2ND GEN RAM1500 NO HOT AIR BLOWI

See above. The blend door actuator has a plastic hinge that crumbles over time. Take it down, if it's bad, buy a Heater Treater. Follow directions, and it's done. If it's the vent doors, it could be a simple vacuum leak, and they aren't closing completely. Buy 3mm rubber tubing. Bypass the...

    Rust prevention

Around November, I spray Fluid Film all over the visible parts, and inside small areas. I have ketchup squeeze bottles full of tranny fluid and white Vinegar. I shoot those inside the frame rails, hidden areas, inside doors, etc. Everything adheres to the metal, and repels the bad stuff. Do it...

Fog Light Suggestions for 1995 Dodge Ram 2500

Keep in mind, when searching headlights, you have single-type. One bulb for low and high beams. Sport Package have 4 lights, separate low and high. Be careful not to mix up your search.

Sport Off Road light mounting options

I have a Sport, and have been looking at off-road lights for a while. I won't cut into mine, either. One of the best alternatives I've found, are the Oznium Ultra-Thin Bar. Multiple colors, fits behind the grille, LED for less power pull. You can link multiple bars together. I don't have them...

    "Regular" Track Bar

That has been on my mind. Strange thing, I not only rotated everything, but also, put different tires on it. Same thing. It feels like it's focused on the driver's side wheel. This is why that Track Bar is on my mind. I have a feeling the tie rod end of it was bad from the factory. I'll find out...

    "Regular" Track Bar

I wouldn't take it personally. He actually told me I can use his shop any time I want to, he trusts me. If he doesn't trust me using anything in there, he would let me know. I'd have no problem having him do the work, and paying him. He knows his stuff.

Nice. You might want to consider the 2nd battery being mounted somewhere underneath. Easier to get to, and it will distribute a little weight elsewhere.

    roof paint

I agree above. If you go rattle, 2k clear is a must. I've done some small areas on my truck, (due to clearcoat fade) and you can't tell until you look closely. Prep is important. Sand the clear, clean, lay the color, then lay a tack clear coat, then go heavier until it looks "wet." Let it...

    "Regular" Track Bar

Not dumb. An alignment was done around 2 years ago, when I replaced parts. They did a printout, and they showed me the adjustments they did. As far as parts, all tie rods (I made the mistake of buying Y-steering, but I now have new T-steering from 1999 2500HD rods, and will go in), Track Bar...
