'14 1500 Black Edition RAM Runner build. Daily Driven

Just to answer your question for future inquiries, Fiberwerx made the fiberglass for Kore and neither come with fender liners. You have to do custom paneling on the inside, like a race truck. Saw this truck on Race Crafters website beginning of 2018 and inspired me to build mine. He probably...

How much $$ on gas per month?

$280-320/month 2012 Ram 1500 Bought a 98 civic coupe in March, $120 month. Little guy almost paid for itself in a year and keeps the miles off the truck, especially rolling in 37’s.

So where are all the lifted single cabs!!!!

I bought the Superchips tuner years ago, the first time I lifted her, primarily for re-gear and bigger tires. Just to see what would happen, I installed the 91 performance tune... and haven't looked back! After 3 years, it's still going strong and helped performance quite a bit considering its...

So where are all the lifted single cabs!!!!

37's only hit the front fenders on big dips that would compress the front heavily. Hit the fender lip pretty hard a few times which constituted fiberglass. If I slow down 5-10 mph, wouldn't hit at all. The only trimming I did was grinding a little bit of the pinch seam down at the rear of the...

Lifted 4th Gen Pics - Show Em Off!

Took these three today. I made the rack in the back which functions as a material/tubing rack, made to look like a roll bar; has 3 wheel chocks, 4 eyelet bolts for tie downs, and two more hooks at the bottom of the legs.

    '12 Express (RCSB) - McGaughy's 2/4 Deluxe Installed

UPDATE: I ended up removing the BellTech drop because of handling issues. At higher speeds, the truck would begin to swap back and forth over bumps or dips in the road. Perhaps adding rear swaybar might have helped, but it was not a delightful experience. Took the truck to the dealer and...

McG cast spindles are significantly heavier than stock! I was actually surprised how light the aluminum spindles were when I removed them.

    lowering it thursday

Were you able to get your drop on?! I used floor jack and jack stands for my spindle drop. While sketchy feeling under a new truck, they worked fine. With spindles, I had to remove the rotors and calipers, but I would recommend doing the same for springs install. From swapping many springs in...

    '12 Express (RCSB) - McGaughy's 2/4 Deluxe Installed

Thanks! Truck rides and feels really nice. Pretty similar to stock, but I only had mine stock for a few hundred miles, haha. I do like it being a lot easier to get in and out of, and when loading the bed; dirt bike, bicycles, other equipment, etc. This weekend I had to use my truck for a...

    '12 Express (RCSB) - McGaughy's 2/4 Deluxe Installed

Last week, I parked next to Dark Gray RCSB Express (stock height, blacked out badges and windows) and it was really nice to compare the height difference side by side. 100% Satisfied I dropped mine and made me want to go even lower! Looks so much better IMO. I should have taken a picture, oh well.

Hi Firehawk. Got my images loaded back up and linked. Along with some others of the progress to it's current state. I looked into wheels and lowering more with Bell Tech springs/cut rears, but other things came up. I'd still like to get a nice set of 22's, but couldn't justify the cost for the...

Got tint done Saturday and looks SOOOOO much better! Completely changed the look and attitude of the truck. 5% rear (on top of factory), 5% driver side windows, and 60% Ceramic on the windshield. I opted to do the whole windshield with light ceramic for heat blockage with no eyebrow. Had...

Hi John, thanks for the info! Looks like a fantastic product, but I'm already close to riding on bump stops with the 4" rear drop. Stock bumps had about an inch of travel before contact with the axle and didn't ride well. I cut the bumpstops down and now have enough travel to not hit them on...

    '12 Express (RCSB) - McGaughy's 2/4 Deluxe Installed

That sounds pretty awesome! From what I've gathered, bags ride incredible well at ride height. Ride/Handling problems occur when people want to roll deep, bags collapsed, and zero travel. One of my concerns being fully bagged is towing. I have zero idea how bags alone would handle towing...

    '12 Express (RCSB) - McGaughy's 2/4 Deluxe Installed

I haven't owned many, but I would completely agree. Mine's a DD too, so trying to get low as possible while static, but still carry dirt bikes and descent ride quality. Bags seem the best of both worlds, just pricey, especially for having never ridden in a bagged truck. :slap:

Thanks everyone!! Trucks at the shop getting aligned right now. I'm hoping the drop settles in soon because I'm getting anxious to get lower already. =P I have a feeling I will eventually be taking baby steps to baggin it.
