Isn't that supposed to change as you drive & idle more?
What did your readout do to cause you not to believe it?
I have seen complaints but not sure what the changes were.
My reading seem reasonable so far. I only have 46,000 miles on mine
The 3.6L V6 is very reliable. The only issue they have is the oil filter assy is plastic & prone to cracking & leaking. Many owners have replaced it with an aluminum version I believe made by Dorman. So my vote is don't waste your money.
I had a tech authority manual CD for my 2000 Grand Cherokee, my boss had the written version. I compared them, they were exactly the same except for 1 thing, in the CD version I could blow up each diagram with excellent resolution so I could see detail not available in the printed version.
2017 1500 CC short bed 4x4 with 3.92's.
I get 17 -19 mpg local ( stop & go 25 - 45 mph)
On level ground going 55 mph I get 24 mpg.
A few years ago we went to Florida & back to NJ, about 2500 miles total. 2200 hwy, rest local and got just over 16 mpg. All highway miles were 70 -85 mph average...
Do the tire chalk test (search that on youtube).
I did with my truck & found the rear tires like 36 psi with no load in the bed. The fronts are good @39 since it has the engine weight on them
My 2017 hemi reads 30 @ idle when at full temp & 50 when above 1000 rpm. When cold it's 50 @ idle. If your engine is quiet, no valve tapping, then I would suspect that the oil pressure sensor is defective.
The fact that you got a crank position sensor code is the one that catches me, a few misfires won't cause the truck to stall, a CPS will. Start with replacing that.
You say you got the efan to come on manually, how? When the engine temps start to rise and the AC shuts down, is the efan on? Is it blowing fast enough? The fan is controlled by the PCM. It pulse width modulated. If it's on when the AC stops is it blowing full speed? Check the fans connector...
Xtool D7, D8, D9 are all bidirectional. I bought the D7 during black Friday sale. Couldn't resist for 295 bucks.
Same as the D8 except D8 is cordless. I checked it out on my Ram. Scared fine & I was able to activate power windows, engine fan, heater blower. I have the capability to turn off...
Have you tried disconnecting & reconnecting the tailgate connector? That's how it happened on the first place. While it's disconnected check for recessed pins.
Lubed wouldn't stretch a bolt if you're using a torque wrench. That would most likely only be 10 % increase on bolt stress. Now tightening with a 600+ ft lb impact gun is most likely the culprit. And if someone did that they most likely didn't start the lugnut by hand, the put the nut into the...
