    Tyger Trax Nerf Bars

I have a set on mine. Came with the truck. I suspect the dealer installed them as they carry the tyger line. There was also a tyger soft top on it. It ripped shortly after purchase. The nerf bars are solid. I’m just a hair over 200 lbs and they hold me no problem.

    Is it legal?

How do you figure entrapment? They advertised it as deleted! Be like if I advertised a set of snap on sockets as stolen and not expected any visits from the po-po.

    Synthetic Oil

Because it’s a 2 stroke engine, you add the oil to the gas. They don’t have a crankcase to add oil to. The oil in the gas provides the lubricant needed.

    Synthetic Oil

Going back to 2 smoke oil, how did opti-2 stack up? Been using it for a long time. Always add about 15cc extra to the gallon mix getting the ratio down to 30’s:1. No fouled plugs, equipment runs great.

Apparant Defective Products Stampede Window Deflector by Real Truck

Since you’re already $100+ into these I think I would try and remove as much of the adhesive as I could and reinstall with some 3M dual stick automotive tape.

    Drying Towels

Ordered one towel. Works as described. Able to dry entire truck, including windows & rims. Don’t think I could do 2 vehicles as it’s pretty heavy/soaked when done with 1 vehicle. Was it worth $30? Idk, will have to see how long it lasts. I will be ordering the Adams microfiber cleaner mentioned...

    Drying Towels

Just ordered one. I'll report back how good it is. I probably shortened the life of my old ones by drying them in the dryer. Didn't use a dryer sheet but I'm sure it picked up the residue of them in the machine. Will start just air drying them.

$8 is worth trying out compared to Adams price. Thanks!

    Drying Towels

What are you all using? I've been using these from Adams. Worked great for about 18 months but now seem to push the water around and not absorb it. Are these still good ones to get or is there something better out there? Or better yet is there a way to recondition them so that they absorb like...

Gasoline - Top Tier for 2024

I think it boils down to economics. I bet 99% of consumers don’t know what Top Tier gas is. There is a family owned BP near me that’s a old fashioned gas station. Wife works the register, husband/mechanic works the 2 bay shop. They just had to replace the pumps because they couldn’t be upgraded...

    Gunk in radiator cap

Are there radiator shops in your area? There used to be 2 in my area, have since closed 15+ years ago. The days of hot tanking them and soldering them to repair leaks are long gone.

Removing a soaked in oil stain from concrete

Very good advice. Just need to do a small area until the oil can be wiped up. Certainly not a job for a cutting torch!

Removing a soaked in oil stain from concrete

If it’s truly soaked in & dried, I don’t think the above methods will be very effective. Concrete is somewhat porous. I’ve used a propane torch and heated up a very small area until it liquefies somewhat. Then use a rag to soak it up. Of course wearing gloves. Very tedious, doing small areas at...
