    Reckon it could have something to do with the anti locking break system the wire comes through the firewall into a lock plug then looks like it goes to wards the back underneath the front seat it all wrapped up in a wrap I can’t tell where it goes.

    Yes I checked with test light and a multi meter for continuity. All checked ok. I have always been able to fix most anything myself this has stumped me. It was a hot wire till I grounded it with a end wrench as far as I can find everything is still working but the wire is dead.

    Took my truck to the Dodge place in Chiefland Fl, and they replaced the shift handle and that fixed the shifting problum $ 254.00 .
