    I managed to install all four bolts, I pre-threaded them before I installed them. I used a box wrench for some, a 1/4" socket and ratchet with a long extension, and some patience. Thinking about it now, I wonder if you couldn't just mount it from the other side with a few self taping sheet metal...

    I'm not sure if yours would mount in a different place being an ecodiesel. Mine mounted to the the right as you sit in the truck, to the side of the center console.

    Thanks for the suggestion, I've checked every fuse and reconnecting both harnesses that go into the trailer brake controller.

    Yes, the trailer has brakes and the battery is good. There are no issues with the trailer or the wiring, it works perfectly when towed with other vehicles.

    So I installed the resistors that came with the taillight led’s tonight and everything works perfect. Disappointed that I wasn’t able to resolve the errors using alfaobd but none the less it’s resolved. Thanks for your input guys.

    I have the original housings that came with the truck, I just swapped the stock bulbs with GTR LED bulbs. Funny how the LED bulbs don't throw any codes or have the hyper-flash issue until the headlights get turned on, and then disappear once the headlights are turned off.
