Buy the truck... keep It then sell it...
Trucks hold a lot of value on private party sale.. factor in sales tax though... that's where you'll lose money
Anybody that tows at the limits without hitting a scale is risking trouble.
Loads shift and tongue weight can go you or down a few hundred pounds easily just by how you load it
I would stay with less than 5k dry trailer and 21 or below length...
For a group of 4 adults its doable...
The last thing you want is losing control on a downhill hairpin with the trailer pushing your vehicle around...
Just type micro lite and you'll get several choices
Late to the conversation.. just want to recommend that if you tow with the 1500 adding an electronic sway controller on the trailer may help reduce your risk...
As what has already been said... you run out of payload before towing capacity... i have the same issue with my powerwagon... your...
I went with this... serves as signal light and is bright enough... it blends very well with my black bumper

I have auxbeam and they are good...
For what is essentially redundant lights cheap is ok... if it was your primary then expensive makes sense... just my 2 cents
Lubing the pivot heads is recommended... the nylon pads are designed to put the right amount of friction when pressure is applied by sway... dont lube the nylon pads... but using the nylon pads also diminishes the sway control
Mine is a different brand and the sway control is on the hitch head...
I saw that.. but she probably felt his anger and decided she didn't need to deal with it.. it probably was in the computer but for her to access it would take time and so in her mind if you dont want to help her help you she wont go out of her way to help at all...
I've found being rude makes...
You will lose payload before gcwr
At 20% tongue weight your 7500lb trailer will put 1500lbs in your bed...
Your dealer is just lying to sell you a trailer... reputable dealers still have desperate hungry and misinformed salesmen... once you sign the paperwork its your problem if you get into...
Sorry youre having issues but it can happen even with premium brands...
There are a lot of ram buybacks for sale meaning they do buyback lemons...
Work with the dealer to initiate a lemon case and if no good get a lawyer. Wa has good lemon laws..
I realize you're angry as i would be but it...
Just came back from cali... az to cali 12mpg with headwind
Cali to az 15mpg with tail wind... although i was 300lbs heavier with stuff on top of my bed
As far as this thread goes you are right...
Since we can dictate prices l, Actually i think you're overcharging your customers.. you need to cut your rates and charge 20$ flat labor per hour...
Actually you or i dont dictate fair price... we dont represent the market... actually probably a small portion only...
If i decide that 20k is a fair price for a new ram will you sell me one? Why not... if you and i can dictate what is fair then provide the guy the service for that price... why...
Again its a free market.... vote with your wallet...
Ignorance has never been an excuse... but a sucker is born everyday..
And to be clear, I'm ok that they charge what they do... who is to dictate what fair price is? The market... if people pay the inflated prices then that price is fair
