My experience does not extend down to the 1500, it mainly covers the heavy duties. RC's brand reputation is across all platforms and is uniformly considered to be cheap and barely acceptable.
The only scenario where you have both 1) a Power Wagon and 2) an 18” wheel with a street tire as a spare is if it was a factory error, or a previous owner replaced the spare for some reason. Wagons come with a 17” spare with a matching Goodyear Duratrac tire. No exceptions.
It’ll work, it’ll just have provisions for the smart bar and wiring for the front locker. It is physically identical to a regular 2500 axle in every other way.
I just ditched the spacers and had to redo all 32 wheel studs, I think I'm going to keep it as is for a bit lol
Edit: I missed your question. Four balanced very well. One did not, we threw that one on the back and I’ll use it as a spare. I never rotated my spare tire into the rotation before, I...
Picked the truck up from having the high mark fender flares installed and I noticed last night that the light in the bed to activate the bed lights isn't working. It's possible that a wire of something got tugged on and the button isn't working because of that. Does anyone know how that button...
Redid the east coast badges on the drivers side to follow the new fender line, and included the trails I did this winter. Went through the drive through today and the guy at the window looked at them and said “it looks like you have a hard time keeping this on the pavement!” I replied “that’s...
I did have to get new carrier bearings in the front during install. He said they were pretty beat up, estimated I’d probably need new ones again in 40k miles since the factory ones lasted about 55k.
It’s time, for the big reveal! Finally was able to pick the truck up tonight and I could not be happier with the results. I just love how this turned from me not wanting to spend $1,200 on a steering upgrade to spending well into the five digits. But after many months of anticipation, here she...
Whatever changes you want to make, you change the dip positions before plugging it into the truck. When you plug it in using the bypass harness (assuming it's plugged in properly), youll hear the truck honk twice once that particular modification has been programmed. You don't flip the dip...
Who you telling? LOL It went in the shop on 6/7 and was supposed to be done for the annual PW offroading event at Rausch Creek, PA this past weekend. Well, it took longer to work on than expected so it wasn't ready in time. So I'll have a shakedown cruise in a few weeks. Better to put some new...
Things are happening…the big reveal will finally be soon. Hopefully I get the truck back tomorrow or Wednesday. It was supposed to be done already but things happen. What started as a simple mod to replace the broken headlights spun into the single largest mod I have ever done at one time. I...
Without seeing pics it sounds like they did the same thing to the Ram that the did to the Durango years ago. Durango owners complained about the dial shifter hard enough that it only had it for a couple of years before they put an electronic shift lever in its place. My mothers 15 has the dial...
