    Speaker upgrade

Has anyone been able to effectively solve the window switch rattling issue after upgrading? It's been driving me nuts. The only thing that I have found to work is turn it up louder than the rattle.

Building a new garage, what do you wish you had...

Definitely go more that 20'11" deep on the main part. The average half ton is 20' long now. I would go 24' for sure.

    New 2500 Tradesman with clunk/rattle

I had a similar issue to what you are describing. On mine it was a loose bolt in the factory installed side steps that bolts to the frame.

Got a 4" Lift, Shopping for 35" Tires - A/Ts or Highway Tires

I'm super happy with my Continental TerrainContact A/T's. They are a mild AT so gives you a slightly more aggressive look, more capability (they're fantastic in the snow for an all-season) without the road noise (no noticable change from stock) and less than 1 mpg in mileage drop.

3.21 vs 3.92 Gear Ratio...will not be towing much.

I've got the 5.7 with the 3.21 in a CC short bed. I tow a 6500lb boat/trailer combo regularly, over mostly flats and some hills for 3 hour trips. I would say the truck does just fine, but if I were to pull anything more or do more than just hills, I would definitely want the 3.92's. If you...

    Multi-function tailgate?

I thought it was kind a silly unnecessary expense until I test drove a truck with one on and I would definitely option a truck with one. Super nice to not have to lean over the tailgate to grab stuff out. It would have also been handy when I was unloading a load of rock from my bed and not...

What is the weakest link giving the truck it's payload capacity?

I'm laughing my ass off at that one. Truth.

What is the weakest link giving the truck it's payload capacity?

Some of you guys need to relax a little or you'll find yourself in an early grave. I was just asking a question about the design limitations of the truck. I am in engineering so I want to understand the design and see if there are any weaknesses I can filter out to make the truck safely more...

What is the weakest link giving the truck it's payload capacity?

I wasn't getting notifications that anyone had commented. I'm now working through the post. A 1500 makes a great tow pig. They have a lot of power for their weight class, a much better ride than a 3/4 or 1 ton. As long as you aren't trying to haul earth movers or a horse trailer, they do the...

What is the weakest link giving the truck it's payload capacity?

I bought my truck as a tow pig so never really looked at the payload capacity until I needed to haul some landscape blocks that weigh 70 lbs each. The Ram 1500 payload is kind of a joke. My light duty utility trailer holds almost as much. The F150 will holds more than double. Otherwise I...

    4x4 tires?

I really love my Continental TerrainContact AT tires if you don't need an aggressive all-terrain. They are even better than the Bridgestone Dueller AT Revo2's which I loved. The Continentals only cost me .5-1 mpg over the stock tires at highway speeds.

Those with the Hellwig rear sway bar

To you guys who have done the upgrade, did you find it well worth the money and where is the best place to buy?

    Remote Start Question

The fan will blow in heat mode, but you probably won't be seeing much heat until you actually start driving because it's going to take a solid 10 min or more for that engine to heat up while just idling if it is really cold outside.

    New tires

I have the Continental TerrainContact A/T's and I am EXTREMELY happy with them. I used to be a big fan of the Bridgestone A/T Revos which I think are a great tire, but the Continentals are even better on the slippery/snowy stuff. I didn't notice any additional road noise when switching from...

    Uconnect Update?!!?

I am sure the dealership can do it for you, but if it is not a recall issue, they may charge you for their time. What is this update for? I haven't seen anything on for my truck.

    Gas mileage!

Are you certain you didn't have the V6 in that loner truck? That would seem to make more sense to me on the mileage numbers. I thought the 5.7 always came with dual pipes except for the fleet vehicles (I could easily be wrong on that, just basing on what I have seen on the road) My '17 stock...

    Time to change tires

I am really impressed with my Continental Terrain Contact AT tires. It's a mild AT so if you do mostly onroad stuff they are great. I didn't notice any drop in fuel economy or notice any road noise over the Bad Year stock tires I replaced. In the tirerack review it beat out the Bridgestone...

Lets see what you are towing.

Supreme S211. 4200lb boat, an estimated 1800lb trailer, and 300lb of fuel for a total load of about 6300lb. I really wish I had the 3.92 gears...

    ram 1500 tow rating

Anybody know if the trucks equipped with the 3.92 gears also have heavier duty springs in the rear over the trucks with the 3.21's or is the suspension the same?

    Kicker KS series

I have always been a Polk fan so I put Polks 6x9 DB series in the rear and the doors and 3.5 DB's in the dash, but Polks wont fit in the front doors so I picked up a pair of the 3-way KS 6x9s. Holy f$%k they are bright! And I like prominent mids and highs. I had to turn the highs almost...

    Biggest tire on stock height

I have been searching for tires too and would like to gain some sidewall. Everything I find in a 275/65R20 has an E load rating and is pushing $300/ea. and I really don't need, or want to pay for that. Anybody found tires in a 275/65R20 under $250 a tire?

SAT Antenna Placement: Why does it differ?

So what your saying is, there might be a stash of drugs in my truck that they missed after it got shipped up here. I did notice that my 32 gal tank seems to only hold about 30 gal. :smokin:

SAT Antenna Placement: Why does it differ?

I have a 2017 Big Horn CC and the satellite radio antenna is right above the windshield on my truck. Most of the crew cab trucks I seem to see have the antenna placement over the rear of the cab. I am curious if anyone has any insight on why they might have it in different locations?
