Looked all along the path from the filter. Nothing right up to the front. Seems to be from somewhere around the idler pulley.
No spray when running, in fact seems to have slowed down.
I just noticed a puddle under the front of my truck an hour after parking it. It seems to be deisel fuel. It's dripping off the very front edge of the oil pan. Cannot see where is coming from.
I am getting ready to replace the drive shaft center support bearing and carrier on my 2005 3500 diesel dually. However there seems to be two sizes available, 1.378 dia and 1.575 dia. How can I tell which one I need without taking it apart and then hoping I can get the correct one locally.
My indicators are acting weird. I flip on the turn signal and the light on the dash flashes in the direction chosen like it should then it will stop flashing and start flashing in the opposite direction. So I suspect the flasher unit/relay. My question is "where the f@#$ is it located. Sounds...
That is where I started questioning what I may already have. Seems like the constant +12v black wire does the same however I am thinking I do not want full time but rather only powered with the engine running. So would like to have the black wire connected to the alternator.
Got it. So #4 is constantly hot and will charge the trailer batteries but I would like to change that to hot ONLY when the engine is running, i.e. directly from the alternator. Is this a thing.
Does the tow package included on the 2005 3500 dually include a live centre terminal on the 7 way bargman socket to charge the trailer battery while the engine running.
I have standard steel wheels on my 2005 3500 dually. I have added valve extensions on the rear wheels but with the chrome covers the clamps that came with the extensions do not hold well. What can I use that are a more secure fitting.
Did all 3rd gen trucks come with a spare tire hoist. Just bought my dually and the spare is just bolted up with allthread. Cant imagine how i will ever be able to lift a dually wheel back in place. Is there a retrofit to install a hoist.
Since I just bought the truck yesterday I've no idea how long the mirrors have been bad. The seller said he just adjusted them by hand. So I will check the switch first before removing a mirror to bench test it.

The tailgate is loose rattles like a snake. The PO said it was replaced from an unknown donor. However when I looked at it closer, at home, there is a bolt missing from each latche. So will replace them and feel this will fix it.
Just bought one. Had the inside detailed because it smelled like dog and covered in dog hair. Making a to do list. Blower motor nor working, power mirror not cooperating, tailgate not latching properly, just for starters.

My 2005 dually mirrors wont adjust. When pressing the switch, they seem to me trying to move but can't. This would indicate there is power but what should i check. The switches or the motors or both.
