    Well...now at 215k miles and truck is back in the shop. Lifter failure again. If you look through this thread you’ll see I upgraded the cam and went with non-mds lifters. Redline 5-30 and RP oils filter every oil change. Waiting to hear if the cam was ruined or not... This is so frustrating...

    Yeah I assumed he was under warranty and FCA would only replace with factory parts ‍♂️. When the lifters went out on my 5.7 I replaced with non-mds lifters. I just hate to make this mistake again. Fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me. But the 1500 forum is FULL of lifter/cam...

    Well this took an unexpected direction. After talking with my boss a little more, I think we're just gonna take the money he agreed to spend on a rebuild ($6K) and put it down on a new truck. Thanks for all the suggestions!
