What are some of the reputable on-line retailers of load-leveling kits?

I'm looking to buy load-leveling kit on-line (Eibach, Bilstein, maybe ICON) for my 4th gen 1500. Where are you all buying?

    Wiper blade recommendations

Regardless of brand or money spent, here’s a trick to make them last longer and work better. Spray WD-40 on a clean rag, pinch the rag on the wiper blade and thoroughly clean the blade. Firm pressure will help remove the tiny tar balls and other dirt that causes those annoying filament-like...

Ram manifold bolts, and customer service is garbage.

Had mine done at a local exhaust shop about 20 mins southwest of Reading, PA...$169.00 per side including new gaskets, hardware, and resurfacing of manifolds.

Exhaust valve tick/OEM or aftermarket replacement manifolds?

Update: Took my RAM 5.7 to the exhaust shop today and they only had to do the passenger side. Total = $169.00 to remove, machine, reinstall with new gasket and hardware. I think that's a deal. Cheers

Exhaust valve tick/OEM or aftermarket replacement manifolds?

Thanks for the dealer warnings, but this is a private exhaust shop that does everything from OEM to custom, hi-performance systems. As for dealers, I never go to a dealer unless it's a warranty or recall. Cheers, and thanks again for your reply.

Exhaust valve tick/OEM or aftermarket replacement manifolds?

Update: I was prepared to replace the exhaust manifolds myself but got a tip about an exhaust shop about 15 mins from my house that does top-quality work. On a whim, I took my truck there for them to look at. They gave me a price of $250 to do both sides. They have their own machine shop...

Exhaust valve tick/OEM or aftermarket replacement manifolds?

Advanced thanks for any input to my question. I have the dreaded Hemi tick and diagnosed it as a broken manifold stud(s), passenger side. It does quiet down by the time the engine hits operating temp. So I'm asking if there are better aftermarket options to OEM headers? Same for gaskets and...

Lowest Mile 2011 Ram In US?

Great find, tbird 71. Believe it or not, I bought my 2010 RAM 1500 Big Horn last year and like yours, it was/is in cherry condition...one-owner truck with 14,000 miles. The guy bought it new to tow his boat to a local lake, but right after the purchase, he was diagnosed with cancer and then...

    Help please...front suspension upgrades

I thought about adding a level kit but think I'll keep it OEM. I do load up the bed quite a bit at times so that's a consideration. I'll look into the Bilstein 5100s. Any opinion on upgrading sway bar, bushings, springs or other parts?

    Replace or repair transmission...2010 RAM?

One no-vote for Jaspers. Thanks for your input, JD Mark. I've not purchased anything from Jasper so your experience is useful. Cheers, Tom

    Help please...front suspension upgrades

I agree about the mileage and need for replacement. The truck sat most of its years due to the owner's declining health. I sometimes wonder if it's just the seals drying out on the struts. IDK, wear aside, I just want to improve the ride and handling mannerisms if possible.

    Replace or repair transmission...2010 RAM?

Thanks for your feeldback, jmd, and yes, remanufactured is what I meant when saying aftermarket. I know Jasper does remanufactured units. I appreciate your mentioning Mopar, Jegs, and Summit; although, I'm not sure Mopar will build in improvements into their remans like the other aftermarket...

    Replace or repair transmission...2010 RAM?

I have a 2010 RAM, 5.7 with 37,000k miles. It had 14,000k miles two years ago when I bought it. Last winter I started hearing and feeling some worrying, tell-tale signs of transmission problems. On cold mornings the trans whines, shudders (classis torque converter worble) and slips. Now I...

    Help please...front suspension upgrades

I have a 2010 RAM Big Horn with 36,000k miles. It had 14,000k miles when I bought it from a friend two years ago. I'd like to improve the ride because it has become very skittish at highway speeds when hitting uneven surfaces, potholes, and the like. Any suggestions on what parts and brands...

Dealership Tech drilled through cylinder head when removing exhaust stud

And you proved my point. Your bias is based upon age. I'm 57 years old, however, I identified myself with exactly the title you wanted to see - snowflake - so you could perpetuate your position. How you judge a generation by one technician's mistake is a curious thing, but what I find...

Dealership Tech drilled through cylinder head when removing exhaust stud

Why do you have to cast aspersions on an entire generation? Consider instead simply adding value to the conversation at hand and hold back grossly over-generalized and defaming comments. And yes, I'm a snowflake.

    Driving on lake ice

I know....it's not a PW but I just drove on ice for the first time this past weekend while up in Battersea, Ontario - 18" of ice all over the lake. That said, it was still a bit unsettling haha and a strange sensation to drive out to our friend's island when I'm only familiar with the trip via...
