Looking at upgrading my halogens to led’s. What’s everybody running? Don’t think I want something as expensive as Morimoto’s, but I want something that will last and bright enough to light up the dark area I live in.
I found out that a different fk uniball bearing should solve the fitment issue and also that Maxtrac most likely uses fk bearings in their products.
Heres a link

A 90mm throttle body isnt necessary, if you really want a better one though the 87mm from moes performance is a popular choice. One modification that wont break the bank would be headers. Id stay away from BBK, but Jba and American racing make excellent headers. Upgrading rear and front control...
Icon makes a kit with Coilovers, upper control arms, rear coil springs, and rear piggy back shocks. Itll only raise it by 2.5” though. Its there stage 5 kit. I have Bilsteins on my setup but I know Icon is superior. Price is around 4k usd
I dont have a picture besides one from online. The upper control arm is currently at the shop. The shop thinks Camberg has one that may work so theyre figuring it out. It is partially my fault because I waited awhile to get the UCA on with the lift. The problem is that they cant even send me the...
Correct, Id still like to use them, definitely beefier than my stock ones. At this point though I regret buying them. Didnt realize they would stop making them
Anybody know of any ball joints compatible with Maxtrac upper control arms for a 1500? Apparently maxtrac stopped making upper control arms for 4th gen 1500s but after I was sent the wrong ball joints. Neither Maxtrac nor Realtruck seem to want to fix the issue.
Yeah don’t think they added anything like that. Theyll have everything fixed once I bring it back. It also started feeling really sluggish in reverse since I got it back. Thinking it could be related

That makes sense. The truck has to go in anyway next week for retorque and getting my UCAs installed so Ill let them know. As the long as it wont cause any issues though i might just keep it as is. Thank you for the information
Never heard of anyone setting them at 2.8 not even from the company themselves when I talked to one of the Superlift guys about the problem. Nothing was left out of the rear. The shop felt that that the rear coil springs may have been for a different lift but I found out that Superlift uses the...
The shop told me they set the bilsteins at 0 in the front. Its had front spacers since ive owned the truck but I know that they took them out. Ill get some pictures tomorrow when I have light lol. Was on the road all day
I know what rake is, in my case the rear sat way too low without the spacer. Not sure what kind of bumper he has but the winch bumper im looking at weighs 300+ lbs and would make a considerable difference in handling without making the necessary changes. I ran a front spacer for years though and...
Well I picked a shop that i have full trust in. Superlift has been around longer than most and I havent heard really any issues pertaining to rake so Id like to hear others experience with the kit
The shop had to add rear spacers to elminiate the rake when the Superlift 6” was put on. Has anybody else run in to this problem? Other than that Im very happy with how it turned out and it drives great
I just got the superlift kit put on mine. Probably will need to also add spacers for the rear because of some rake but its a great lift and good deal. Comes with bilsteins shocks all around.
