    Do all newer Rams have Autopark?

    Seems like a pretty simple workaround, if you are backing up to a trailer take 2 seconds to dummy up the seatbelt if auto park is active.

    New to RAM - from a $72k Denali to a $20k Tradesman

    Congrats! Like you I’m single but do like a crew cab. If anything I’d actually consider removing the rear seat for more interior storage lol! Coming from a 2014 Silverado myself I think you’ll enjoy the Hemi. The mileage is comparable, the ride is nicer and frankly it’s more fun!

    Blew my driveshaft in half

    Doing that kind of speed on a public road when othe traffic is only going half the speed is just a bad idea. Some places if you get pulled over at that speed they not only give a ticket, they take away your licence and truck.

    I’d call mine Happy. If I want to get on the accelerator it gets going. If I want to chill on the highway it goes happily. In short it’s just an enjoyable vehicle. And that’s all I need

    My boss only buys Ridgeline for work in the oil patch of northern Alberta/BC. They get me where I need to go but far too many compromises for my liking. Give me a RAM 1500, Silverado hell even a F-150 but anything is better than that! The only. Thing I don’t like about the 19’s is the front...

    Truck telling me to change oil to often.....

    Just got my first change today. 11000 km in. The oil life monitor still said about 30% but I just couldn’t hold off anymore. I figure about 6 months of service it was a good time.

    Yup lifting a 2x4 is like giving a boob job to a nun lol! I think some nice rims and running boards would work on that truck. Maybe some exhaust tips as well

    The new look is growing on me. Still think that the grille and headlights can be improved a little bit though. Otherwise it's a fantastic looking truck.

    Finally - an answer to the lack of 2017 1500 SLT models!

    Maybe it's different in the US offerings than in the Canadian ones but my 2017 1500 is indeed an SLT and I bought it brand new. So no rental history there.

    Daytime Running Lights

    I am amused at this thread. Up here in Canada DRL's have been mandatory on all vehicles for something like 30 years. It really should be a simple thing for a shop to activate them. Hell I'm surprised that they aren't mandatory for the US too. They do in my opinion make a positive safety...

    I think my EVIC is broken

    Damn sweet mileage! Last weekend in my Hemi, going just 100 km/hr I was able to get as good as 11.3 L/100km Or about 22 USmpg and I was pretty damn happy with that!

    Need advice buying my frist truck

    Even though the sticker can be high, consider a new vehicle. Generally you can write off a portion of payments etc on taxes and you have the peace of mind knowing that if you have a breakdown you have a warranty
