Here are how the boots hang. I haven't touched them at all, all summer. Haven't even wiped them down, at all, including the shock arms. They're pretty damn clean. Gonna do a detail clean next time I grease the UCAs. And here is the surface I'm talking about where the shock body...- bruiserRAM

1. You're welcome! I learned almost all I know about my RAM from this forum so giving back a little was the least I could do. 2. No unexpected maintenance, but three minor issues. 1) the front UCA bushings squeak quite a bit. I grease them with the correct grease every 3000 miles or less...- bruiserRAM

All this is truth. I've spent...a LOT...of time under the rear end of my pickemup truck, raising, fiddling with the coils, lowering, over and over, until I THINK it's bowing less than before...then I put the tires back on, and dammit if it doesn't look MORE bowed now...so I do it again. This is correct, and Icon mentions it in their instructions as well. The frame bracket mount (the upper one) needs to be ground away a bit to fit the Icons, because the shock body will hit it. Not very much, but some. The shock doesn't need to be modified. Apparently, this doesn't always...- bruiserRAM

FYI: the damn tow hooks are VERY close to the flange on the lower mounting bracket. A dollar bill stays stuck in between! ICI told me they would not fit.
