Appreciate it. I tow a 6k lb boat once or twice a week in the summer but other than that I drive a decent amount of highway to work. No plowing or hauling otherwise. I have a heavy foot on the highway but not in stop and go traffic so I purposely don’t beat my brakes. Luckily I do all the...
Had my tundra for several trouble free years and traded it in at 8 years old for $18,5000.
I had manifold bolts break, window track break, two sets of rear brakes and one set of front brakes on the ram with 35k less miles(44k) and 4 years less time of ownership. Paint quality is garbage too...
I just picked up a set of rubicon express RE1333 off amazon for my ‘16 bighorn. They’re .75” lift and made for jeeps but supposed to fit our trucks. $30 on amazon.

I just got my oil change done then realized Pup was 16$! I bought two gallons from amazon for my next one. Should have bought more probably.

There was a recent video with a guy comparing the internal layout of hemis and showed that they’re poor at throwing oil around compared to other engines. My understanding of his findings was that idling and low rpm driving was not the best and higher rpms will throw more oil around the top end...
I would think all the added bits to your truck must be like adding sandbags on all four corners before putting the bike in. Autozone must love you.

It may be the truth but some vehicles/manufacturers have higher rates of failure. This forum seems to have more complaining due to defect than the last two truck forums I was on(frontier/tundra). This type of topic is a regular fixture in the timeline feed of this forum.
Secondly, of that...
I was also referring to the same one, it doesn’t reset on its own or after 50 miles. It’s always calculating your avg mileage until you reset it. It will take longer and longer to change .1 mpg if you don’t reset it. I reset that display and trip A every fuel up. Mine changes less and less as I...
The mpg is based on how many miles you’ve driven since your last reset. I reset my eco meter every fill up and trip A so I can see miles driven. Then I divide my gallons to fill into miles if I want the real or more accurate mpg. I also use trip B for oil changes like a previous poster.

I had a 18” and it was just slightly loud at startup plus had a drone on the highway. Also noticed a different tone with mds. Ordered the 24” from Hot exhaust and didn’t realize they sent me the 18”. I was too excited when it arrived so I threw it on, it lasted a week. I’m debating on ordering...
Doesn’t need a lemon law is what I think you meant by the double negative. How does a rock get thrown out of the wheel well and button hook back into the truck? Secondly how does it not scratch or chip the paint one bit? That’s clearly a bad decal. You’re also saying that one trip to a dealer...
I’ve found in customer service that most people want to be heard and feel that you at least tried to help. Shitty attitude with excuses/blame doesn’t get any of that done and leaves the customer angry every time. There’s nothing wrong with expecting customer service from a car dealer! These are...
I added a little more than half a can of liqui moly ceretec on my last oil change and it seemed slightly smoother. I only have a brief tick on startup which I think is the manifold bolts. I have one more free oil change at the dealer then I’m putting in PUP and debating on a moly additive, not...
Just spit balling but I had a previous truck with T’d off airbags for a single line to fill and I always though that cornering would just push the air to the lighter side and have slightly less effect in helping roll compared to individual lines for each side airbag. Am I way off on this? Like...
I had a vehicle do something similar a few years ago and remedied it by not inserting the nozzle fully. Maybe halfway in and it functioned like normal. Never ran into issues after I figured out the sweet spot. Hopefully you or the dealer figure it out.

Temp sounds normal. Mine is around 175* at operating temp and the lurch may just be that your engine is cold and rpm’s are up higher than if warm so it has a little more torque when switching to drive.

I’ve had my ‘16 bighorn for two years and noticed some electrical oddities but nowhere near yours. I’m questioning long term reliability. My auto window function and cruise have stopped working a couple times but then work after a restart. I noticed my steering wheel button to accept phone calls...
Found a great deal on new bilstein 5100’s and rough country UCA’s that a guy wouldn’t be using so I jumped on it. Don’t think I’ll use the UCA’s though since I’m just leveling at 2.1” and they’re angled for 3” lift.

I had that pump and the ball on the pump handle fell off the first or second time I used it. I bought a electric transfer pump off amazon for like $15 or $20 and although it’s slow, it works fine. The best manual pumps I’ve had are the standing cylinder type. I’ve used a few manual pumps for my...
