Anyone have a Corporate phone number?

How many hours did you spend getting a “good faith ok”? That’s what sucks about the FCA dealers, it’s always “that’s not under warranty” until you go postal and hope you will get taken care of. I’ve never owned a vehicle under warranty with so many problems that the service advisor says are normal.

Ram Cares, Max Care, Dealers all are a crock.

Next time I’ll bring them a box of donuts before they disappoint me.

Ram Cares, Max Care, Dealers all are a crock.

I have been both the patient customer as well as the squeaky wheel, and it doesn’t matter. I used to have time to sit in the “lounge” for hours waiting for warranty repairs, not to mention 3-4 hours wait for oil change. At each visit, I was told there are no loaners, and they didn’t do rentals...

    Harsh downshifting

I had the clunk when coming to a stop at 14k. Took it to the dealer, and was told after the tech checked it out it was normal and the S/A said he’s never seen a truck no matter what brand that didn’t do it. I contacted FCA, they suggested I request a ride along with a tech. The tech said he did...

Ram Cares, Max Care, Dealers all are a crock.

They’re all just going through the motions. Customer satisfaction is a thing of the past, unless you find that anomaly dealership that cares. It’s funny, when a service visit goes as planned, the advisor puts the arm on you to respond to the survey. When it’s a questionable visit, no sign of any...

Ram Cares, Max Care, Dealers all are a crock.

It’s easy to say “your dealer sucks”. The dealer is an arm of the manufacturer and the liaison between me and the manufacturer. The Ram dealers aren’t like grocery stores, one on every corner, for me the next dealer is an hour away each way. Maybe they should post a sign in the showroom “good...

Ram Cares, Max Care, Dealers all are a crock.

I recently had some warranty issues with my truck, and spent numerous hours waiting for repairs. I read on this site that if you have a Chrysler extended warranty, you are eligible for a rental reimbursement. Each time my truck was in for repair, I asked the dealer if there was a loaner or...

    Ram Bump

How ridiculous. Spending +/-$50k on a truck, and people are taking their driveshafts apart, putting in new drive shafts, or just getting use to the feeling that you were just hit from behind when coming to a stop. The dealers say it’s normal, but it didn’t happen when it’s driven off the lot. If...

    Ram Bump

The service advisor stated it was “Normal” when I dropped the truck off. When I picked it up he stated the tech drove it 8 miles and the transmission was functioning normal. I drive off and the bump is significantly worse than when I dropped it off. If this is “Normal” FCA should put a section...

    Ram Bump

I brought my truck to the dealer yesterday for wind noise inside as well as the bump/clunk when coming to a stop. The wind noise is apparently mirror gaskets(dealer ordered parts). The service advisors response when I described the clunk was that there is “slap” in the driveshaft and it is...

    Catastrophic Engine Failure

Get a Twitter account and post this info. Ram Cares couldn't care less about what you post here. Watch for an increase in 1500's for sale with 50k or less. 66k?? Ridiculous..

What DON'T you like about your RAM?

Full synthetic. Dealership had a sale. Ordered Dueler Alenza Plus, got Dueler Alenza(and the order was given to the service manager. Are you suggesting a customer with no prior negative experience buying tires from car dealers should know better? I bought Mopar bedrail cap $75.00 and installed...

What DON'T you like about your RAM?

Had the truck in for the clunk last year. 1st visit they said it was normal, all trucks do it. 2nd visit I requested a tech ride along, and he acknowledged the clunk, re-flashed the software and it was good(no clunk) for a few months. The “5-30” link was from you. I use whatever the dealer...

What DON'T you like about your RAM?

I’ve heard this mentioned a time or two but I guess I’m still unsure what this is. Care to explain? -Clunk at the moment the truck stops or when taking my foot off the brake at a stop. Happen +/-50% of the time. 5w-30 as well. -the truck is a ‘17, 30k and always had full synthetic at the...

What DON'T you like about your RAM?

I have a similar issue. Every couple of weeks when I shut the truck off, and get out leaving the key fob in the truck, the horn beeps 2x. I don’t lock the doors, so it’s not the reminder. The truck is quirky.

What DON'T you like about your RAM?

Rear diff/transmission clunk. Hemi tick. Plastic bed rail tops warp. Uconnect updates Incompetent dealer and the arguing over warranty issues. Wind noise.

    thump when release brakes

It’s a software issue. Had the same answer from the dealer “it’s normal, all trucks do it”. Set up a ride along with a tech, and he updated software. It took me several hours to get that far, everything with the dealer is brushed off until you ***** enough. The clunk was gone for 6-8 months...

    Frustrating

The “grease monkey incompetence “ is the responsibility of the Ram dealer. When I buy a truck with a warranty (and maxcare warranty) I expect the dealer who is going to do service including warranty repairs and replacements of items they recommend and advertise, in a competent manner. I have...

    Frustrating

Since I have no confidence in any of the work the dealer did associated with the tire mess including an alignment, I had an alignment done at Firestone today. I’m glad I did, and was not surprised to find that all aspects were way out of spec. Currently, the truck rides pretty good, with just a...

    Frustrating

The dealer installed Alenza not Alenza Plus. The dealer was by far the cheapest around with the rebates FCA was offering. Thankfully, The local Firestone store has been very accommodating trying to resolve the issue, at their expense even though I didn’t buy the tires from them. I’m not sure...

    Frustrating

Update- Firestone road force balanced and rotated the tires, finding the fronts that were balanced by the dealer were off by 2oz. Currently I have a random shake that at times happens at 45, 55, and feels like a cobblestone road. This thread has gone all over the place, so a recap; Had SRAs with...

    Frustrating

Bridgestone replaced 2 tires(rear) since the shake was in the seat. You’re probably correct about never being a satisfied customer again. Every issue other than simple service has required repeat trips. I had the “ram thump”, and the 1st time I complained about it they said it was normal that...

    Frustrating

Road force balanced by the dealer once, and by Firestone once. My big issue is that I have a truck that was fine, got new tires, and currently have a truck that shakes at 50+, after spending over 20 hours physically waiting, not including the 45 minutes each way to the dealer. I’ve asked the...

I have no intention of spending another $1000 on more tires. I’ll get rid of the truck first.

    Frustrating

I have no doubt they put the Goodyear’s on for a softer ride. Maybe saying it was to mask something was not right. Perhaps they should provide a qualifier stating that if you want the same ride you have to keep installing the same crappy tires that they installed. The Alenza Plus were the...
